Memories and Milestones

It is interesting to hear on the

news where we had a big earth-

quake in 1965 so this date of

April 30.

I still have a memory of the

earthquake. My brother and

I were at our elementary at

the time it hit. We were playing

on the playground. I remember

seeing the doors slamming.

We have had a few other earth-

quakes during my life that were

large however this the one I

remember the most.

I am sure everyone hss memories

like this. ♥♥♥♥♥

Changes Each Day

We know that each day brings

something new.

We hope to learn from our 

mistakes and tge new day

we won't do the same.

Sometimes we do make the

same mistake over again.

We hope it doesn't happen

quite as often.

May today be where we are

blessed and we don't make

as many mistakes.  ♥♥♥♥♥

What is important

We have to realize what is important

and for it the time to spend.

God wants us to spend our time with him. Of course there are those who wants us to spend our time with them.

Our purpose is help others but we

can't let people to be demanding

of so much of time.  Let them know

God wants spend time with them 

too. 

We have a love affair with our spouse

or the person so important to us.

God wants the same too if not more.

For many people want to have religion

and not a relationship with God. 

I know that sounds tough but it

is really what goes on for many.

I want to encourage us to go after

what truly should be number one

in our lives.  ♥♥♥♥♥

Having Connection

We should have connection

with others. Often it has to

do with our personality.

The fact is we won't connect

with everyone no matter how

nice we try to be.

Those we connect with often

have similar experiences as

we do even if we are not a lot

alike. 

I connected with another guy

at summer camp. He lived

in the bigger city nearby. 

Chatting together found out

that his father worked for my

father on a part-time basis.n.

His father was a fireman and

at the time my father hired

firemen to be installers on

their off hours. I met up with

him in high school when his 

family moved into our town.

He and his brothers became

firemen too. 

It is interesting how connections

really happen. It isn't like it was

planned except by God.

May you have more connections

come your way to benefit all

involved.  ♥♥♥♥♥

Being Faithful

It is important to be faithful

to our life purpose as well

as those who are in our

lives.

It is important we have the

faith to accomplish what

we are meant to do with

our purpose.

We are greater than we 

think we are. Our purpose

is not just for our good

but those who are in our

lives and those we meet

whether often or even

just once. ♥♥♥♥♥

Visions and Dreams

When it comes to the spiritual world

I know some who visions and dreams.

I know they can give others about

their life purpose too.

We should seek out visions and

dreams for our purpose as well.

Our lives do change when we

know exactly what are purpose 

is.  ♥♥♥♥♥

I Admire Musicians

It is amazing to me the talent of

musicians. Those who make it

to the top work hard at it. It

does take luck or at the right

time or place.

It isn't easy to be a musician

since they have admiring fans

and may only last for a period 

of time. The same goes for

professional athletes who have

a short career whether they stay

healthy or not. 

In both cases the top of their

profession are the ones to

be remembered the longest.

The musicians are the ones

that have songs that have

been remembered for decades

or longer.

See our purpose is just as

important even thought it

might only be remembered

by a few. We don't do our

purpose for just what we 

get out of it. It is more what

others get out of it.

We must accept our purpose

as a high calling from the

creator God. He set us up to

accomplish our purposes. 

I figure if one person gets it

than I have done my job

here though I hope many

will.  ♥♥♥♥♥

Keep Moving

We can be discouraged at times

so we have to keep moving on.

Not only can God help us when

we are not doing well so can our

friends.

Those we help can do the same

for us. It is important to have 

joy even during the hard times.

Being A Senior

Sometimes people think that

seniors don't have a purpose 

any longer. That isn't true

though bad health can make 

it more difficult.

I feel as a senior my purpose

is getting more defined. This

can be true for so many seniors.

You have to realize that you

have so much still to offer.

The status of the world those 

you know thst are younger or

even the same or older than 

you can still benefit from

you.

So seniors just keep going

and those younger get help

from them.  ♥♥♥♥♥

Our Life Style

Our life style makes up a major

player in our purpose. It begins

when we were born.

A lot of bloggers write about their

life style. If you want to know more

about your life style you can do a 

search on blogs on  those who

have similar to yours.

You can actually find others online

who have the same life style in

your area where you can meet up.

Though we are unique there are

others that have similar interests

and lifestyles. We can make a

difference in each other's lives.

Bigger Than Ourselves

Beyond being unique our life

purpose goes beyond us.

We can make a difference in 

other's lives with our gifts and 

talents. 

Often people see our talents.

For example we are a good

singer or musician. Another

is being an actor or an athlete.

Our talents can take up a lot

of our time. Not only practice

and performing but those

who we spend time with. 

Many of them will turn out

to be friends for much of

our lives.

Gifts are more in the spiritual

Ares. It can be giving wisdom

or compassion to others.

Hospitality is another where

you may invite others to your

home or overseeing group

activities.

Both talents and gifts have

a lot to offer to others. We

can have our talents and

gifts work hand to hand.

Happy Easter

I want to wish everyone a happy

Easter. I will be in church myself

to celebrate.

Many of my Christian friends

call it Resurrection Day. This

what Easter means.

Jesus Christ rose on the third

day. He spoke of it happening

before he was crucified.

When we die for those who

believe all will be resurrected

with new bodies. While thr

natural bodies will go to the

ground our spirit will go to

heaven. Though we will not

look the same we will recognize

one another. Amen!  ♥♥♥♥♥

Good Friday

Christians world wide are celebrating

the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on

this day called Good Friday.

Also going on will be spiritual

warfare at the highest level.

Satan doesn't like this day.

He hasn't forgotten that he 

was doomed on Good Friday.

He will trist the word of God.

It will sound like truth however

it isn't truth. He will speak real

truth trying to condemn us as

well.

May your Good Friday be the

best ever. May you receive

victory. Amen!  ♥♥♥♥♥

Support Others

It is so important to support

those who support us  This is

true of those who  we consider

our mentor.

Those who we consider our

mentors will help us mentor

others.

I am enjoying those on social

media who are encouraging

others in their writings to. 

We can be effective with others

no matter how old we are. 

I know there are those who are

taking their calling seriously

often look to go elsewhere

like another country. That calling

might be right for some however 

where we live right now can be

the place of our calling.

 Even if we meant to go another 

place still a good idea to do our 

calling  where we are until the 

right time comes.  ♥♥♥♥♥

Spring Time

This week it has felt like

spring weather in Western

Washington. Good time 

as the children are out

of school for break as

well.

I figure it isn't only good

to stay healthy with the

sun it is good for our 

purpose.

At the least you can do like

I did on Tuesday go for a

little drive and meet some

people in areas that I don't

necessarily go to often.

At the very least smile and

say hello. In my case I will

joke as well. This is for the

young children and those 

around my age.

Even though life might

not to be perfect we can

pass on some joy. Being

happy is good despite

the distractions. 

Use whatever gifts you 

have it a better days for 

others.  ♥♥♥♥

Support Others

It is so important to support

those who support us  This is

true of those who  we consider

our mentor.

Those who we consider our

mentors will help us mentor

others.

I am enjoying those on social

It Is Holy Week

In thd Christian community this 

is Holy Week. Sunday celebrated 

Palm Sunday. Though at the

beginning no one knew except

Jesus Christ that he was going

to be crucified. People were yelling

Hosanna in the highest.

God Friday will be celebration

of his crucifixion when be was

nailed on the cross for our sins.

On Easter Sunday celebration

of his resurrection  being

raised after three days.

Our greatest purpose is to

follow his example  by denying

ourselves too. Giving faith, hope

and most of all love to all. Also

forgiving others for sins they

put on us. Encouring others

no matter what they can have

a new life and the purpose

they were intended before

they were born. Amen. ♥♥♥♥♥

Disappointment

One thing we know in lifedisappointment 

comes along sometimes.

How do we react to disappointment.

I am sure there are disappointments

we have hung onto for years. The 

important thing is get away from 

them.

A great gift is for those who have

compassion or good listeners

when we are in a place of being

disappointed. The gift can be

such a good life purpose for

others.

If you are disappointed today

go to God first and then a friend

you know if you have to share

with someone.  ♥♥♥♥♥

What Are We Looking For

The biggest question  we ask ourselves 

as soon as we understand  is what are

we looking for in life.

The number one is what is our purpose.

The top of the list should be a relationship  

with God. It is the reason  we were created.

I don't  want to be cruel however millions

are looking for God through religion. That

really isn't  the answer. Relationship  with

God is the answer.

I don't  believe in God. Okay. Seek him out

and see if you can find him. 

Next in purpose  is our spouse for those 

who are married.  Along with that is the

children and our siblings.

Having community is the next in line.

Those are our friends and those we

meet wherever that is at. 

Discovering  our talents, gifts and

personality.  They are the tools we

use in our purpose. 

Our purpose  is with God, family

and community. They are there

for us as well as we are for them.

Being Artistic

You Have Arrived

It doesn't matter how long

it took however nice you 

arrived at your destination.

It sometimes takes us time

to be the person we are meant

to be.

It doesn't matter how long what

does is that you did. It might

take a lot of fighting in doing

so. 

Sometimes we get on the wrong

road and we didn't know or

revused to get off until the

right time.

We might have spent the time

with tge wrong crowd until you

saw the lights. 

Arriving at the destination is 

step one. What you do after

that is the most important.

Best of what the rest of your 

life is about. Everyone you 

meet is important. You are

there for them and they are

for you too.  ♥♥♥♥

Appreciation

I really appreciate you all.

Whether you agree with 

all I say or not.

I know that not everything

on social media is good

however I appreciate those

who write and encourage

others.

and is important to them.

Those who are living as God

Mercy and Gratitude

Two good tools is to have

mercy and gratitude.

Mercy is to treat others

even when they don't

deserve it.

Gratitude is feeling good

about the world and yourself.

This doesn't mean every day

will be good however it will

help.

Showing a good smile on

top of it may give good

standing to others. You

don't need others approval

however these will help

in our lives.  ♥♥♥♥

Rising Above

We all have limitations and

sometimes circumstances

that takes time to evolve.

It is great those who can

rise above their limitations

and circumstances.

Are you one that has?

We might have to fight

for us to rise above.

Don't listen to lose who

put you down and see

you as they do. Rise up

Having Boldness

What we can all have better of

is boldness. 

I am able to speak to strangers

however I think I can still use

more boldness.

The most important thing to

talk to someone you don't

know is be yourself.

I know it isn't easy since it took

me a while to get here though

most people would say I am

very social able. 

Not everyone is willing to

talk so you have to get the

right time to do so.

You don't have to talk long 

either. Just begin with hello.

I usually talk to people in

lines at the grocery store

or coffee shop.

I use my humor to talk to

people. You don't necessarily

have to however use whatever

fits you. 

Important thing is to ask them

how their day is going. 

Anyway a few good tips.

Lay It Down

I came to the realization that we 

must lay down our life purpose. 

This doesn't  mean  we don't 

ever do it again. This means 

we give up control  of it every 

single day.

Those who get burned out  is

those who keep  control. This

way we won’t  get burned out.

The people  we have  spend 

our time around  will still receive 

our purpose  as we do there's. 

Today let's  release and lay it

down and be more productive.

Knowing Who You Are

Knowing who you are is an important

part of your life purpose.

It is s good idea to talk to someone

who is good at knowing what our

life purpose is.

They can be someone you know

or someone you just met.

When someone tells you what they

believe is your life purpose you

will be knowing this to be true.

Your life purpose is in your heart

and spirit. If you have two or more

saying the same thing  then

you know for sure.

Having the faith that it is true 

makes it even more spectacular.

Everyday Challenges

Each day is a challenge no

matter itvis good or not.

As a child I don't remember 

days this way even if it was 

a bad day.

We have challenges whether

we are rich or poor or single

or married. 

The best is to learn from

these tests of challenge.

In Our Name

There is a meaning in what our

name means even when our parents

chose it for something  else.

I was named after  my father

which is an honor I believe.

I am not a junior since my middle 

name is after my mother's father.

My mother told me several times

how much I was like her father

especially  with my humor. I am 

sure they don't  know those things

when your born.

My name Herb means ultimate 

warrior and being a bright light.

My middle  name  is  Norman. 

Interesting  since the name Herb

came in the times of the normans.

I  am  sure  you  know what your 

name means you can see it is

true for it can verify your purpose.

Dealing With A Cold

No matter how much I  try not

to sometimes  a cold will come.

I guess we could say that  about

a lot  of things. No matter  how  

much we want to have control 

it doesn't  always help. 

Our  purpose  is to help others

and sometimes  to help ourselves 

to.

When we get sick even for a day

or two or maybe a little  longer

is to get some good rest.

During this time we can reflect

on  things and become a better
