I Am Sure Your Good

I am sure everyone  has idea what 

their life purpose is. 

I am here to  encourage  everyone. 

For some they base their purpose 

on their religious  upbringing or

convictions. 

I believe God  has  a purpose  for 

each one of us. It begins with our

relationship  with  him. You have

a strong  relationship  with  God

then you have a good idea what

your purpose  is.

Our primary purpose  is  to be 

in relationship  with  God if you

believe in him.

God created  each of us uniquely 

with gifts and talents. Many of

us have similar  gifts and talents.

How we use them can and likely 

different. 

Often gifts and talents are sent 

down the family  line. We maybe

given additional  gifts primarily 

in the spiritual  type. Might be

similar to our natural gifts too.

A good example  is my nephew

Ian. We have similar personality 

and character.  Also, some of

the same gifts. We use them

in different  ways.  He lives

elsewhere so he has different 

people  to influence  and those

who influence  him.

This can mean by having an 

unique purpose as well. Where

we are at and who spend our time

doing.

Our Functions

Our purpose  is  not only for why

we were created it has functions

to help others. 

For some the gifts and talents 

are used professionally as well  

as in personal.

We go to doctors,  dentists, lawyers,

architects and contractors to name

some to help us in their functions.

We have friends and  those we spend

time with to help us out in more practical 

ways as well  as we do for them. 

We have mentors to learn spiritual 

or personal  activities.  We are mentors

to even though we may not think of it

in those terms. 

Everyday we meet people  our purpose  

comes out in one form or another. Embrace

your purpose.  There is only one you and

others need you. ❤️❤️

Finding Others

What is important  is  to  find others 

who have a similar  purpose. 

Yes we are unique  however  it is 

important  to  find people and spend

time together. 

The importance  is  to  have people 

who  want to  do similar purpose.

For example  those whose purpose  is 

to hike and  show where  they go to 

on social media.  They may write  telling

where they have gone and their experience.

A group of hikers may get together  sharing

their love of hiking. They may go for hikes

together  on occasion  to. None of us wants

to be alone.

The coffee  shop I go to there is  group of

older men who meet in the morning four 

or five days a week.  The one common 

thing is they are collectors of classic cars.

They met first at classic car shows which

turned into friendship. Not only go out for

coffee in the mornings they meet in each

others homes on occasion to. Their wives

have become good friends to.

Search and find those who have the same

similar purpose  and  passion.  ❤️❤️👍

Another Monday

 Monday's always come around so often. 

I guess could say that for every day of the

 week. 

Since I was out of town for

ten days this my first Monday 

back for a couple weeks. Now

 I am getting back into my routine.

Monday or Sunday night it is

good to plan your week ahead.

I am sure most of you have a 

routine as well. For those who 

work and need to know when to

go shopping and setting up 

appointments.

God says not to plan to far ahead

 because we don't know

what is ahead in life. There are 

things we do need to plan for 

though.

Only Three Months

Today is September 25th so

means three months until

Christmas.

Boy another fast year isn't 

it.

Not sure got all my purpose 

done but God knows for sure.

We have to decide for next year

and the remaing 2022.

Up Early

I am glad to get up early

for my writing. Since return

from the trip I have had jet

lag.

Friday night went to church

home group. We had a guest

speaker and the hope of a

future. 

We are here for a purpose 

however our life maybe short

in this life but the joy we have 

eternal life with Jesus Christ

if we choose it. 

May your days be filled with

joy. Our days we don't know

how long they last but we can

make the best of them no matter what the past has been.

Amen! 😀😀

Be Encourger

Our tongue  can be our best friend  

or worst enemy. 

I experienced  that last week  on 

my trip from family  member.  I  didn't 

respond back immediately  out of 

respect for my niece and her wedding 

which happened last Friday. 

Another thing  I  knew the person  was

hurting  though I  don't  think of it

as excuse.

Again this shows me we must think 

before we speak and encouraging 

words is the best way to  accomplish 

it..

The words spoken  were not kind

and  not truthful  either. A double 

whammy  we could say.

A couple days  later I  was asked to 

take a second covid-19 test before

the wedding.  Actually  a third test.

I  took the first  test before going 

on the trip then another five days 

later there. After being told I should 

have taken  another test I  let my brother 

know that I didn't  appreciate the way

I  was being treated.  

My brother  said well you came a long

ways and want to  be sure you  didn't 

catch covid. I  told him I  had covid 

18 months ago and since I  have  been 

tested negative  eight times including 

these two times. The second  test was

taken five days after arriving  and I  don't 

feel any symptoms. So I  didn't  take

the third test. 

It is important  we keep  our composure

under these circumstances  and at the 

same time  stand up for ourselves. 

Words can be damaging and hurt relationships 

so again encourage one another. Amen!

The Routine

Now I am  back home and  trying  to get 

back to my routine. 

I have to say not easy that is for sure.

I  have some jet lag.

My trip was my second in a month.

I don't have plans yet for another.

I  do hope  go somewhere else

in a few months. 

I have much  to  do  since  I have to 

move in three or four months to.

Back Home

I arrived back in Seattle just

before 3 pm local time. I 

gained three hours from

the east coast.

The plane from Washington

DC was delayed about an

hour. So had five minutes

before boarding began in

Newark New Jersey.

The flight took a little under

six hours to Seattle. We got 

in early so I was able to get

on the airporter back to Gig

Harbor earlier than anticipation.

The airporter leaves twenty

minutes after the hour every

hour.

They used to have a kiosk

for the airporter but no longer.

I had to ask where to catch 

the airporter and it was right 

outside where I was at. 

The time was good getting

to Gig Harbor since the airporter used the express lane.

I spoke with a young man

on the bus who is in the Navy.

He was being employed at

Keyport. This was his first

time on the west coast. He wasn't sure how long in Keyport

since the aircraft carrier might 

be sent out. I gave him some

information on the area.

When arriving in Gig Harbor

it felt again strange even more

than a few weeks ago returning

from British Columbia. I had

no idea what I had in refrigerator at home so got

a few groceries including milk

and juice. Of course I got into

the wrong checkout line.

They guy in front of me said

he always gets into the wrong

line. I said not your fault since

I did to.

I made a stop at coffee shop

before home. Told the Barasitas a little about my trip.

I saw a gal from the deli shop

in the coffee shop. I thought

it was a little weird. Now I

realize the deli isn't open on 

Tuesday.

Now Wednesday back to the

regular routine though I know

it will not feel the same. How

long feel awkward in this state.

What I look forward to is my

next trip. Where I go I am not

sure. A lot will depend on when

the trip takes place. In the 

meantime will do some travel

in Western Washington. For sure go to Whidbey Island

where my cousin Peggy lives.

Flying Home

I figure it is a good idea

to write a post while on the

plane. Since I didn't buy

the Internet package I will 

do so after arriving in Seattle.

I found since traveling to British Columbia then Washington DC

I would like to travel more. Though I feel grave is part of 

my purpose I never know how

it goes.

The trouble is it does cost

money to travel and a lot 

depending where. What 

would be nice is to have a

travel partner to help with

expenses well as a good

time. Also if people are 

willing to help pay for travel

be good to.

What I would do in exchange

for helping out would be to

tell them how I enjoyed the

trip and what I saw. Along with 

tips. Another thing would be 

to visit them where they live.

In that case could stay with

them and know them better.

Learn more about where they

are and pass on to others.

We could chat about our purpose and what we have

learned. I could give them

words what I feel their original

design is to. How God intended

them to be. Can introduce to

friends as well. All possibilities

can happen. Go to comments

on what you think and how for

us to help each other.

I know there are those reading

here from other countries who

may have questions about USA

whether about travel or anything else. 

I look forward to us meeting

wherever it maybe. If you

I could be your guide to.

Being Faithful

It is important to stay

focused and faithful

to our purpose.

This is really important

when our purpose we

feel is not happening.

Going in the same 

direction might not

feel right either but

we should pray and

meditate why.

Our purpose should

always be the same

though how we use

it could change.

I have heard people

on average change

their profession three

times. This means to

me how they use

their purpose change.

So you are struggling

figuring things out

 right now just keep

going one step at a

time. I know you will

get there. Amen! 

Good Weather

Saturday was good weather 

for a wedding. The sun was 

out and 83 degrees.

Hume Virginia and the Marriott

Ranch a great place for a

wedding.  The food was real

good to.

Whatever your Saturday was 

like I hope you were blessed.

First time I met her. She is as

sweet as she looks.

Going Further

It is one thing knowing our purpose

but another to work it out every day.

Sometimes we may fall during the

process. We have to get up and

move forward. We should never

give up. This true when success 

is not yet happened.

We might fall over and over again

but get up and continue walking 

forward. At some point we won't

fall again.

The people we are to influence

may not recognize our gifts or

talents for some time. At some

point they will. 

What we do on a daily basis there

will be those who will recognize 

at some point. They may want

to be sure we're the one for them

to put their confidence in.

We are all in difference stages of

our purpose. It is important we

meet those who have similar

purpose. Though we are unique

there are those who have trailed 

the path for us. Amen!

Visit the White House

On Wednesday I visited the White

House. At first the grounds were

closed then opened an hour later.

I spent the hour walking several 

blocks and viewing people to.

When I got back they just opened

the grounds. It is a marvelous

place to view.

    Thursday the plan is to visit the       

     Capital building. I recommend 

     everyone have a visit.

We Make the Choice

I realize spending two days visiting 

museums in Washington DC our 

purpose though created is still our 

choice.

All the people whether men or women

doing great things made a choice.

We know of them because of the

great things. They stuck their necks

out to make the world a better place.

They took their gifts and talents

and put on the line. Ones like Jackie

Robinson and Martin Luther King Jr.

who fought for the rights of their 

people though were other ones before

them. George Washington along with

others fought and brought a great

nation together though not perfect 

by any means. 

So today we should take our gifts and 

do what we feel is right. We might not

be great but we can make a big difference. Amen! 

First day in DC

Monday I spent most of the day

in Washington DC. A lot to see

in the two museums I went to.

I visited the national American

history first then the natural history.

The second one not sure I believe

some of what they said but enjoyed

it as well.

Tuesday I will visit the national African- American history museum. I will visit the Washington Monument which is nearby. I will try to visit Lincoln Memorial to.

I don't have plan for Wednesday yet.

When Traveling

Now that I am traveling visiting

family I look to use my gifts and

talents. 

My humor is what I use most of

all. I am not sure my greatest

talent but something I enjoy doing.

I guess using humor will put people 

at ease as well as normal conversation.

I have to see how the gifts will work

during my travel this week. 

I plan to visit Washington DC Monday

 as well as Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Thursday may as well.

The weather is expected to rain Monday

 so I may visit a couple of 

Museums.  Tuesday I will visit the

Washington monument and Lincoln Memorial.

 I will have to figure out

more of my plans as time permits.

It looks like McLean Virginia where 

I am staying has easy access to DC

by rail. Hopefully things will go

 smoothly. Blessings to you all. 

On the Agenda

I figure to be surprised today

since I am on vacation sort of.

Being off to church with my brother

and then see what happens.

All of days should be like this

not knowing what will happen.

Most times even with plans things 

work out differently than expected.

A Long Day

Friday certainly was a long day.

I got up early to take airporter

at 4 am arriving a few minutes 

before 5 am.

My flight took off about 7:30 am

for Newark New Jersey. Arrived

there around 4 pm eastern time.

The seats were tight for sure. 

Made for those around five feet

instead of six feet or taller.

The flight from Newark to Washington

DC was delayed an hour though felt

longer than that. Arrived around 8:30

eastern time.

The time difference certainly has

effected me. Being tired I slept

almost seven hours without ever

waking up which doesn't happen

often to me.

It was nice to see Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial

while driving to my brother's home

in Virginia. Not a long drive at all.

Saturday not sure what the day

will be like though I know adjusting

to time change for sure. 😊😊😊

Getting Up Early

Since I have to be up early to get to

the airport to fly to Washington DC I figured to write in the evening.

We should encourage ourselves to

do what is important and what God

wants us to do.  Not easy thing to

do for sure. We have to make money

to survive. 

Many people work long hours to pay

for a home. Some places like where 

I live the cost of a home has skyrocketed. I am not sure how 

people actually do it.

Used to be the man worked while

the wife stayed home to raise the

family. Now this doesn't happen.

The wives do stay home have to

sacrifice somethings well as those

who do work. Those work and those 

who stay home are not bad things

as long as they can manage keeping

family together. Not happening a 

lot these days.

I am sure there are those who plan

but what happens if the husband dies

way to early. The wife needs to go

to work. Having life insurance may 

help out to some  degree. This doesn't

mean the woman doesn't have gifts

or talents outside of being a mother.

Those who take care of the family

should put in a few hours outside

the home each week. With today's

technology they can work from

home. We found this out so much

with covid where many have worked

at home and some still are.

Saying all this means is finding

a way to do use our talents in

a greater way not to only benefit

us but others too. We should take

long hours thinking what we do.

Even retired people find things

to do. A good example my cousin

took up pottery after retiring from

teaching. Recently though she has

to take off having cancer. She is 

good shape now and looks forward

to get back to her pottery. I wish 

her the best.  😊😊😊

Ready To Fly

Friday I will be flying to the

nation's capital though I will 

spend most of the time in

Virginia.

I hope to meet many people and use

the gifts God has given me. 

I do plan at least one day in DC. It will

be likely Monday plus maybe Tuesday.

Admiration

Often we admire or envy those 

at the top of their profession.

Though we may feel as a regular

person or lower in some cases

we all have special gifts and talents.

Those others admire or envy.

We are special for we were created

uniquely. 😉😉

Being Kind

The world  isn't  the same as two years  ago. 

Actually  might not be to different except 

people  are  willing  to say what they feel. 

Whether covid-19  or politics you can find

a way to be kind to  each other despite 

what you think.

I am in the conservative  side though much 

of  my family  is  on liberal  side. Though we

don't  agree doesn't  change how we feel 

about each had other.

I know some of my conservative friends  

think I  should  be  more involved.  I  figure

I  do what I  feel. God has a plan for each 

of us and I  am  following  his plan for me.

Joy, Peace and Love

When it comes to our purpose  is

to have joy, peace and love.

We have joy for everything pertaining 

to our purpose. Peace to make choices

and love to  share. Amen!  ❤️❤️❤️

Things Change How About That

Interesting what I said in last

post changed real fast.

When I went outside it was

drizzling a bet. I wasn't 

expecting it.

I can say everyday brings something

unexpected. Life would be boring if

every day was like the day before.

May you be excited on what comes

next. We can ask God for something

exciting and see what he does.

Our request should be unselfish.

We may be surprised what God 

comes up with.  😊😊😊

Moving On From Summer

Here in Western Washington it has been 

a hot summer  and  a  good time  as well.

Having gotten back from British  Columbia. 

I hope you all had wonderful summer as well. 

I look  forward  to have temperatures  go down.

September  usually  very nice here though can

have rain on occasion.  The raining season  as I 

call it begins in October. It goes thru January 

most times. I  look forward  when the sun does

come out  even for several minutes. 

May your purpose 

Looking at Faith

I know I  have  mentioned how important 

faith is to our purpose. 

I know to there are those who judge 

their faith. Jesus  Christ  would call

it unbelief. 

Jesus  said faith is like a mustard seed. 

A very  small  seed. Also, he said faith

can move mountains. 

So you have small faith than you have

the package and don't  forget it. You

can more whatever  you like. Amen!

Eating Out

I enjoy eating out with friends

from church however can be

expensive.

I am sure most of you would

agree. I only do once in a while.

I figure next time I will get one

item. Wednesday night we were

sitting along a road of tables. Really

only talked to five people other

than saying good bye when leaving.

I do prefer the home setting though 

getting out is good once in a while.
