Meditate and Pray

Since most of us in USA are staying
home for now unless we go for a
walk or groceries it is a good idea
to meditate and pray.

Look for your favorite scriptures
and meditate on them. Ask God
to give you answers to what you
are reading.

For those living outside the USA
I hope things are going well for
you. I know things are critical in
Italy and other European countries
so I hope you are being careful.

I know those in Asia have already
gone through the storm I hope you
are able to get back to normal life.

I am not sure whether we will be
normal ever again but doing our
best.

I am encouraging us to have the
faith to make it through this time
in our lives. Amen!

Start With Prayer

Our number one purpose in life is to be
in relationship with God. Much of it
has to with prayer which for the most
part is talking to God.

My church Harborview Fellowship is
having a live service on Sunday's
beginning at 10 am Pacific Time.
You don't know what time it is
where you live you can tune in
anytime it will be recorded as well.

Our pastors are having messages
twice a day Monday through Friday
in the morning and evening as well.
It is a good way to be connected.

I forgot to tell you can find them on
Facebook if you are a member or
you can sign up as well.

This week they are going to talk
about prayer  which is a good thing.
Try to find the time to do so. We
should all learn a lot even if we
pray a lot anyway.

I hope you were blessed this
weekend. May your week
be wonderful. Let your friends
know about this blog too.

I know it isn't the best but I
do hope that I do encourage
you on a daily basis. I hope
it gets better every single day.

Remember we all are unique
so our purpose is as well.
Until next time. Amen!

Getting Outside

With the Coronavirus life is indeed
different depending where you live.

Here in Washington state we have
order to stay at home unless you
have an essential job.

Though we are meant to stay at
home we can actually go out
for walks.

Right now it is raining so not
an easy task for sure. Fortunately
rain does stop for a little while
usually anyway around here
so can do the walking thing
when it is light rain or none
at all.

The other option is to take a
drive though most parks are
closed you can stop and see
the view.

It is hard to know what to do
with our life purpose but we
can do our best. Another thing
we can call a friend or a relative.
Yesterday I called three people.

Time of Hope

We all need to have hope. Right now
it is a big deal whether it is coronavirus
or in my case the loss of my mother.

Our hope should come from God.
The hope can come directly from
God or through other people.

We can read scripture to give
hope to ourselves or speak it
to others.

Live today with the hope that
comes from God. Meditate on
his word and abide in his love.
Amen!

What Do We Do?

The World has changed over the last couple
months. We don't have answers either.

We have no idea how long the Coronavirus
will be around.

All we can do is have faith that life will
get back to normal as soon as possible.

What normal is will depend on how
life will be.

I lost my mother on March 6 so my
life has changed different than many.
Those who lose a family member or
more because of the virus changes.
It is a sad situation while everyone
like me during this period lost a
loved who didn't pass away because
of the virus loses as well.

Whatever the case it is not good.
We must have the faith to go on.
I have to share with others about
my mother during this time.

I don't know whether live will get
back to what it once was but God
knows for sure.

I have heard a few in media that
we have to take time to meditate;
however, as Christians we meditate
through prayer. God will help
us in no way that others can.
Amen!

Going Up

Sometimes it is easy to get stuck in life
as well as writing goes that is.

Most of the world is focused on the
coronavirus while I lost my mother
almost three weeks ago.

It feels so unfair on both sides.
Not only have I lost my mother
others are losing family as well.
Where do we go from here.
I guess we have no place to
go except up.

To be honest I don't know
what that totally means.
I know that things will
get better for me and
those dealing with the
virus.

Have yourself a good day
in whatever way you are
dealing. Maybe you lost
someone like me or you
are dealing with the virus
personally.

Any case we should have
each other in our prayers.
Amen!

Expecting To Rain

Here in the Pacific Northwest of USA
we expect rain this time of the year.

We have had some sun recently so
people have been getting outside
to enjoy.

Most years not a big deal; however,
with the coronavirus being very
serious here the governor wanted
to be sure people kept there distance
from each other unfortunately too
many were doing as usual over the
weekend.

Now the park and recreation areas
are closed. Of course, with the
rain not too many will be going
to them but the governor wanted
to be sure when the sun comes
out people would not go.

The virus is very serious here so
the governor has asked everyone
to stay at home. So a lot of people
are not working now.

This actually goes into effect later
today so those who have been going
to work get to stay at home now
unless their job is considered essential.
Of course, some wanted to now what
that means.

Besides those who are in medical
treating those who have been affected
by the virus the grocery stores and
pharmacies are open. Also, you can
go to the doctor as well. Restaurants
are open still for take-out only.

The governor says that we can still
go out for walks but we must stay
at least six feet apart. Any places
where this isn't happening the
police will make sure that those
not doing so will comply.

When we are not out walking or
being at a place considered
essential we are expect to be
at home.

I am fine with it as long as I
am able to see people from a
distance.

I hope wherever you are the
virus isn't as serious and you
can live your life as close to
normal. Amen!

Stay At Home

Here in state of Washington our governor
has now ordered people to stay at home
except those with essential jobs.

We at least go to the grocery store, the
doctor and still get take out from
restaurants. It means I can still get
my take out coffee.

This goes into effect on Wednesday
evening. We can go out for walks as
well as long as we keep our distance
from others.

This wouldn't have had to happen
if people listen before following
orders.

I am sure there will still be those
who will live life like it hasn't
changed at all except their jobs
they can't go to.

I have seen groups of people
at times plus when going
walking they are close together.

Someone told me well it is
important to be close with
family members or friends.
It isn't any different than
getting a cold where you
need to stay away or you
will catch it too.

Even at a distance you will
still have family around so
do what they say.

Encourage others to do
things together but not
close. Do the best that
we can.

Right now life isn't what
it used to be so go on even
though you may not like it.
I certainly don't. Amen!

Being Available

The state of the world is in right now
our purpose is greater than ever before.
It doesn't matter how bad the coronavirus
is in our own country or not.

Where I live in Washington State
we have more cases than most of
the states in America; however,
the mandates our governor has
put on will help keep the amount
of people being effected. At least
that is what we are hoping for.

Unfortunately not everyone has
taken it as serious as they should.
Our governor has had to add more
mandates because people were
unable to control their urges in
getting out.

Example our parks were overcrowded
though we asked to stay at least six
feet apart. Now they have closed the
parks altogether. I know there are
those who could use the parks to
get out of the home.

On Sunday the governor requested
those 65 and older who still have
gone to work now to stay home.

It isn't easy but things haven't
changed about our purpose.
In fact, our purpose is greater
now then ever we just have to
be more creative like using
social media to encourage others.

So whatever your gifts and talents
are use them today. Let others know
you are available to help them in
whatever they need. You need
assistance be sure to let others
know you can use the help. Amen!

Got Out and Drove

On Saturday I decided to get into my car
and drive.

I went north of where I live to near
Bremerton then headed West.
Bremerton is known for the
Naval Base and shipyard. It
is the city's larges employer.
A great place to visit if you
want to see Naval Ships.

My first stop going West
was at Twanoh State Park
a place our family visited
every summer at least once
if not twice. One year we
spent a week there with our
tent trailer.

Twanoh was closed for the
winter; however, they have
one gate open so people can
dig for clams. There were a
few people doing so.

So I continued on highway 3
going through Union where
there is a very nice hotel.
Many people book there
for weddings and reunions.
Right now not many people
there. Also, you can play
golf as well.

When highway 3 ended I
turned south to Shelton.
Originally I thought about
going north on highway 101
but I hadn't been to Shelton
in many years.

To be honest Shelton hasn't
changed much in these many
years. The only that was
obvious was fast food
restaurants.

At Shelton I decided to head
back going east this time.
There are several small towns
along the way. I didn't go back
to Bremerton but took another
road headed for home.

When I hit the road for home
it has been one that I have been
on in recent years. Probably the
last time was a couple years ago.

I look forward to my next trip
that way when I have some
interaction with others but it
was a good time to get away.

Reevaluation

The world changing right before our
eyes doing a reevaluation of our lives
is a good thing.

Most of us have a little time on our
hands it is a good idea to look at our
life purpose a little closer.

As you may know my mother passed
away 15 days ago. I have been busy
taking care of things in the home we
shared together. I was her full-time
caregiver for the last seven years.

I have had thoughts what I would do
when she left this world but it came
so quickly. Her health changed so
fast that she was gone in four days.

I knew her health had changed in
recent months but it was down to
those four days. Now she is in
peace though I miss her a lot.
I know she would want me to
move on to my next purpose
or the overall purpose for my
life but still doesn't help right
now.

So it would be important to make
a list of what you plan to do when
the world gets back in order after
the coronavirus. I mentioned making
a plan a short while ago. If you did
make a plan it is a good idea look
back at it see what you have done
on the plan and look to make any
changes necessary.

Have yourself a good day and be
good to yourself. Amen!

Continue To Encourage

Earlier this week someone I enjoy
from my church called to let me
know how sorry he was over the
loss of my mother.

I asked him how things were going
with him and his family. He said
outside of his youngest being sick
with a cold everything was good.

He asked me how the whole thing
of encouraging others is going.
I told him with the whole social
distance going with the virus it
is a bit hard in that way.

I do still have the avenue here
to let people know that not all
things are lost. We must have
hope that we will make it through
this.

When this virus is over whether
a couple weeks or months the
world is going to be different.
I know we will see each other
in a different way. We will
appreciate each other more.
At least that is what I am
hoping for.

It is so hard to know how
this finishes since we never
have had anything like this
in our lifetime.

The main thing I can say right
now is keep up your chin and
rely in the hope you have in
God. Speak to him on a regular
basis. Ask him for answers.
Appreciate everyone in a way
you have never before. Amen!

Getting Out

Today I got out for a walk. It was freedom
for me.

We all do have to watch what we are doing
in this season of life.

There was a few other people on the trail.
They were all young people with young
children.

Though they shouldn't be affected it is
still important to take safety measures.

I am not happy about the virus because
of personal circumstances but it is
important to do the best we can to
keep our distance.

I find it interesting because in our
state we can go grocery shopping
where the limited of people isn't
part of the package at this point.

The stores though here have been
responsible where they are opening
hours early where seniors, pregnant
women and those with underlying
symptoms to shop for two hours
without any other customers. A
very good thing.

Encourage others to follow what
is happening though you may not
like it. I certainly know I don/t.
Amen!

Do Some Travel

I know it is hard to travel to different
places right now especially outside
your country.

I recommend that you get into your
car and drive somewhere close to
where you live.

Most likely a lot of people are staying
home so you can relax right now by
doing so.

Going somewhere close that you
haven't been to in a while.

The restaurants are closed for
sitting however you can always
pick something up.

Find a park where you can sit
if it is possible to do so as well.

At home take out picture of
places you have been to as
well.

Plan your next vacation when
the crisis is over.  Also, the
friends you have when it is
over as well.

We must find ways to cope
so we don't go crazy.

Blessings to you. Amen!

Life Must Go On

Right now most of our lives have changed
in one form or another no matter what
country we live in because of the
Coronavirus.

To be honest I am already tired of it.
I know that we all have to take measures
not to spread it; however, on television
they continue asking if we have questions
or giving us what we must do to solve it.

I am sure most of us already know though
there are those that are ignoring it. I
think for this to get over as fast as
possible everyone must do the best
they can do to be safe.

No one still really knows how serious
the coronavirus is though I think the
measures taken has gone a bit too far.

I understand those who have traveled
especially to areas where the virus has
hit hard to self-quarantine themselves.
I even understand to give each other
distance from one another.

Where I live they won't even let us
sit outside after buying a cup of
coffee or a sandwich even when
we are being responsible in keeping
the proper distance from one another.

Those that have been asked to self-
quarantined themselves it is for 14
days. I hope some of these measures
we have been asked to follow will
end as well. I guess we will find out
won't we.

Until next time do what you can do
to live as normal life as you can. I
guess they are calling it the new
normal. God bless you all.

Hello There

I wasn't sure what to name this post. For others
to feel it is important to read the title should be
something for them to say yes.

It isn't ever easy to figure out a good title.
Probably why it is good to have an editor
that knows what they are doing especially
with the title. I don't have one of those.

Since everyone is told to isolate themselves
I figured to say hello. I am sure you can
have company even on line.

My mattress isn't helping out at all.
My back hurts when I get up. I feel
as though I am at least a hundred years
old. My back is starting to feel better
right now.

I enjoy sleeping on the couch since I
fall asleep really quickly. The problem
with the couch though is my neck hurts
when I wake up. It must be because it
is small space on the couch.

I do stretching for my back and neck.
I feel I must do it before I go to bed
now. It could help me out.

So right now the mattress purpose is
to hurt me. See I put purpose in.

I hope you are having a good day
whether you are staying at home
or not.

I plan to get coffee today with a
friend however we will be sitting
outside since no place you can't
sit right now. I can walk a lot if
I choose to.

State Of Travel

Gig Harbor my hometown is a very nice
place to visit normally; however, with
the coronavirus the governor of the state
of Washington has put on restrictions.

For example, restaurants are closed except
for takeout. Yes people can't spend time
together right now We are isolated for the
most part.

We can visit with friends if they haven't
quarantined themselves. A member of
my church was diagnosed positive for
the coronavirus so anyone having
contact with her recently are self
quarantined. I fortunately had distance
from her so I should be OK. Of course,
if I feel sick I will have to self quarantine
myself.

What a world we are living in right now.
I don't understand why we can't meet
in small groups. We can go to the grocery
store where more people are around. We
have to be careful when shopping though
I am sure a lot of people aren't.

A lot of people are buying toilet paper.
Very strange to find it is hard to find
toilet paper. A gal behind me in the
shopping line says it takes her three
months to use use up the toilet paper
she has in a family of four. Strange
times for sure.

So one of your purposes is to travel
it isn't happening now for the most
part. I am sure you can get pretty
cheap tickets tough.

I hope you are able to live close to
a normal life right now we certainly
can't here in Washington state.

Warm and Sunny Here

It is going to warm and sunny in Western Washington today.

I am not sure how many will enjoy it since so many places are being shut down.

Those who choose to quarantine themselves it is a good thing. This is important if you feel sick. Stay away from those who would be affected the most even if you don't feel sick just in case.

Do what you can do when possible. Use wisdom  at all times.
Enjoy the sun and the warmth today when possible.

Isolation

Everyday I feel that I am being more
isolated. The Coronavirus is putting
restrictions on me more each day.

The loss of my mother my brother and
sister were worried that I would isolate
myself because of my grief instead the
government and others are doing so
instead.

Most churches in the area were closing;
however, mine was still open going to
two services until Saturday when a
family came down with flu-like
symptoms so they decided to cancel
going with viewing online instead.

I have to say it really makes me mad
that they decided to cancel. I can
understand in a way but I think they
should have cancelled the nursery.
Sunday school.

Giving people an option in coming
knowing many won't come because
of the restrictions. Asking those who
are sick to stay away as well as our
governor has already said and not
having anymore than 250 people
present in one place though we
know grocery stores may have more
than that at one time.

At this time nothing I can do except
do what I can without further isolation.
Enjoy your day wherever you are at.
Keep joy even if you are being restricted
by others. Amen!

Moving On

As you know my mother past away
last week. I am in an adjustment
period. I was her caregiver so I am
not sure whether I will stay in the
apartment or not. If so it would be
finding a roommate or two. Ideally
two would be good to keep the cost
down.

With roommates it would allow me
to travel as well in the near future.
I am not sure when it would happen.
Currently I am cleaning the apartment
out. Also, my mother's estate will have
to be completed as well.

I am hoping to have a blog where I can
travel telling everyone about my adventures.
I will keep you up to date about it as well.

I knew this day would come real soon
but I didn't know at this date. Now I
will be living a life of purpose in a
different way.

May God bless you in whatever you are
doing with your purpose. If you are
in a similar position as I my desire
is that God will tell you what is next
as well.  Amen!

Life Is Crazy Now

The Coronavirus right now is having the
government doing crazy things in my mind.

In my area the governor closed the schools
until April 24. I am not sure why that date
and why our area.

I know of one person who died of  the
virus and I am not sure how many others
have died or have the virus.

My sister arriving back home after
visiting here because of our mother
who passed away while she was here
is now staying home since she had
left the country. She is following the
local government direct though she
believes it is overkill.

I believe that God is going to take
care of his people for the most part.
I am going to live my life the best
I can under the circumstances.

I am going to wash my hands, if I
have to sneeze I am going to cover
my mouth and do any other precautions
we should do being sick anyway.

Anyway I am going to continue doing
my life purpose as much as possible
along with the grieving of my mother.
Also, I have to clear things of my mothers
as well. If they ask us to stay home and
indoors I will follow as close as I can but
I will go out to throw things anyway.

For those going through the same directive
as we are doing here I wish you the best.
Those who are not I hope you won't have
to in the near future.

The important thing is to keep our faith
no matter what others say. Amen!

Making A Plan

It is so important to make a plan
in whatever we do.

I find it ironic here they have
made a plan for the virus that
has it us. They say don't panic
but the plan in itself in some
aspects anyway is a panic at
least I feel that way.

People are working from home
which is OK in itself along with
stopping sporting events.

In itself looks like a good idea
going with precautions that we
should be doing already if we
have a cold or the flu.

I understand this virus we won't
know we have it until it happens.
Of course, we can say that about
a cold as well which I may be in
the beginning stage.

My mother's funeral is today. I
became upset when her priest
ask for friends not to come but
only family. Well we will have
little family at the funeral because
many are from out of town and
couldn't make it. We plan another
celebration at a later date.

I know that some of her friends
will likely not attend but to
suggest to stay home didn't
come over to me in a positive
way though we will have the
friends included in the later
date.

So the gather will likely not
be many I expect but I want
more than dozen people though
it maybe how many show up.

So whatever plans you make in
whatever you do make sure it is
positive even in a negative situation
Amen!

Covid-19 Virus

I find it amazing how people are
acting around my area when it
comes to the Covid-19 Virus.

I can understand to be cautious
and all  but this is over hype as
far as I am concerned.

It lacks people's faith in many
regards. I do wash my hands
and all doing everything as
though I am sick though I am
not right now.

Schools are being closed though
it isn't supposed to be effecting
kids only those over 60 years old.

I just say have the faith and be
careful out there. Don't let your
life change to much and don't
panic.

May you have peace and joy in
your heart. Amen!

Step By Step

With my purpose changing now I
realize that we take it step by step.

God when he created us gave us
each a specific purpose in life.

We have to realize what it is and
follow it the best we can.

He gives us free will as well. So
we can decide how we follow it
as well.

It is important to follow his purpose
for us because I have mentioned it
before we are most happy when we
follow our purpose.

Now that my life is changing the
purpose is changing as well in a
way.

My overall purpose hasn't changed
but what I am doing with it is
changing.

The loss of my mother who was my
main purpose for seven years as her
caregiver now is done. Now time to
do something different.

My main purpose or focus if you
want to call it that hasn't changed at
all.

It continues to encourage others.
Help others to discover their purpose
or to continue on the path they all
ready know.

Until next time have a good time
with your life and purpose. Amen!

Overwhelming

Friday morning my mother passed away. A week ago
I knew her time would end one of these days for she
was 99 years old after all.

A week ago in the morning we were talking she
complained about her legs when the nurse came
for her scheduled visit.

We didn't know this was probably the beginning
of the end or at least close to it.

All day we were talking when she wasn't sleeping
but at night when taking her to bed she fell her
face into the walker. I had to walk her the rest
of the way.

I still didn't know what the next few days ahead
would be like. She passed away in peace and in
sleep.

Though I had been thinking what would be like
when she was gone it is now overwhelming.

I will be busy for a month or two along with
the grieving process then transitioning into
my new purpose. The journey will be interesting
for sure.

I appreciate everyone

My mother passed away Friday morning. She was a great lady
I will miss her very much.
For almost seven years I was her full-time caregiver. It was
the purpose God me for her during the time.
Now it is the time to find out my purpose going forward.
Guess what you get to go on the ride with me. I will
probably do some traveling for a bit if I can afford it
anyway.
I once was prophesied over that I would go out from here
in Gig Harbor for a period then return to rest and to find
my next assignment.
So here I am ready to see what the
assignment is. If you feel that you have something for me
to say in that direction go ahead and write it in the comment
section. I would like to hear it for sure. Thank you all.

Mother's Journal's

My sister found yesterday while working through
our mother's things she found a couple of her
journals that she wrote while traveling.

When I have the time I will read through the
journals. I will throw any tidbits that I find.

My mother just passed away so leave this
right now

Living On Love

The status of my mom health wise I am
living on love

Her days are numbered it looks like.
We could say that for all of us.

We are not sure how many days we
have left to live this life.

We nee to live on love the best we
can and enjoy each day.

I have to start planning on what
I do next when she is gone. I
figure to do some travel and I
will bring you along with me.

So now I enjoy mom the best I
can until her last breath. Make
her know how much I love her
and how much God does too.

Not an Easy Time

I am keeping this short today
since my mother health has
turned worse.

My purpose now is prayer for her.
Keep her in peace. Not sure
how many more days she
has left but she has had an
amazing life.

Sister Coming To Town

Today my sister Barb is going to arrive to
spend a few days with my mom and I.

It is a good thing because we haven't
seen her for a while and yesterday mom
had a tough day.

I hope the arrival of Barb will help
things with mom.

Mom said that she had pain in her
legs so I hope that is all it is. Gave
her a pain killer to help out  but so
far not doing much good.

I asked mom if she wanted to get
out of bed at some point she said
yes. I told her she has to do a better
job and get back to where she was
a day earlier.

Getting old is not an easy thing and
taking care of someone old isn't easy
either. It is my purpose right now and
she needs me so that is they way it is.

I hope that Barb can put a spark in
her step. Please pray for mom too.

More Than Encouraging

Encouraging is important for sure in whatever
we do. We need to set the example for other's
too.

I am not only here to encourage others to
follow their life purpose but to lead the way
the best I can.

I am no expert but letting people know that
life is beyond just doing things it is experiencing
this as well.

Not everyone knows they are here for a purpose
but if I can let as many as possible know it is
true than I have done a job.

God created for a purpose that goes beyond
ourselves. It includes every person we meet.
It doesn't matter how they treat us or not.
It doesn't matter whether they think we are
friends or not. In fact it doesn't matter if we
ever meet them again after one time.

The important thing is to put an impression
to every person we meet whether we say
a lot of words or not.

They may not have an impression of us
today or tomorrow but weeks or months
or years from now they may. They may
think about you or me some day thinking
I remember that person who gave me their
attention and encourage me. I am on this
path now because of that person. He or
she may not remember our name but they
do remember what we did for them.

Something to really think about right now.
Our talents and gifts are out there for others
to meet and hang on.

It Is Ok To Be Different

Often we want to be like everyone else.
This is especially true as children.

Let you know it is OK to be different.
It is Ok to be yourself.

Yes you can beat to your own drum.
Jesus Christ said not to conform to
this world. It can have the meaning
that you are not supposed to act like
those who live according to their
evil sinful desires but it can mean
to that you don't have to act like
everyone else.

Yes I know it isn't easy thing to do
at all. We want to fit in; however,
we were created to be us so relax
and be yourself. OK!
