Good Bye August 2023

Here we are  the end  of  August depending

on your time zone. The children have or 

will be heading to school.

I heard a man on Wednesday  said he was 

glad things were going back to normal. He

likes his regular routine.  

September  means more time to self and four 

months remaining in 2023. It is interesting 

September  begins with a holiday here in USA

and Canada  with Labor Day. 

Here in Western Washington  we have the Washington 

State Fair kicking off on Friday.  The weather 

usually  continues to be good in September though a

few days of rain might mix in. As a kid I  enjoyed

the fair with the rides and food. Most of all getting 

out of school  early. 

Make a list what  you  did in August. The positive 

and negative things. Also a list of what you may

do in September.

We Have Purpose No Matter What

Not everyone  believes  they have a

life purpose. If you are an atheist 

you don't  likely  believe you have

a purpose  other than just existing.

We all have a purpose whether we 

admit or not. Though I  have  been a 

Christian a long time I  never thought

much about my life purpose for quite

a few years.

It really  didn't  happen until at church

when I  heard sermons about our gifts

and talents that I  learned  about my

purpose  as well.  I  am  sure I knew

in the back of my mind I  had a purpose 

but never thought much about.

Now when I  am  part of ministry at the

Church there are other Christians who

don't  know  their purpose either. We were

created to worship and do many things

for God. Often Satan will  tell us we have

no worth. This is where we get stopped

in doing our life purpose. He still tries to

tell me I still have no worth. Though I  don't 

feel having worth sometimes I being determined 

that I  do and Satan is not going to stop me

either no matter hard he tries. I  have to say that 

is a bold statement  because he still will.

Sometimes  trying to  stop us to do our purpose 

is by us coming down with bad health or thinking

we have no worth to others. Otherwords the past

crepes in sometimes too. Anyway  a few things

to think about our purpose.  Keep  moving on the

world and the people  in it need us.  ❤️❤️❤️

Life Lessons

Every day we should go over life lessons. 

We should  learn something  from  others

as well as ourselves. 

We are not perfect people. One of my 

instructor's  says she does want to

know anyone who is perfect. I  consider 

myself  perfectly imperfect. 

Since we all make mistakes  we should 

right down these mistakes  of today in a

journal  or a list. We look at these mistakes 

daily  and  see how we can improve. Not 

make the same mistakes  again. Not easy 

since I  know I  make some over each day.

Our life lessons  should be part of our 

life purpose.  We should help others 

to become better people as well. We don't 

tell people  of their mistakes unless they

want us too. Sometimes  though we need

to be bold for those who have few friends

for how they act. We take it all on an

individual basis.   Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

Sharing One Another

I feel living my life of purpose is to share

myself  with as many people as  possible. 

I am almost sure sharing ourselves a lot

of that has to do with the culture you live 

in.

I am sure some if not many of you come

from a different  culture than mine. You

may look at your purpose different  than 

I  do.

In the United States we live a lot to do

with independence.  Here in Washington 

state we probably  do more than any place

else.

I live in in a small town so how we live

is different  than  the  big city like Seattle.

Small towns generally  more layed  back

then a city like Seattle.  When I go to Seattle 

which isn't  often I  feel as though I am in 

another country. It doesn't  mean it is bad 

just different. 

I was taught by my parents  to be independent.

That can be good or bad depending on who you

are. I like being around people so being independent 

in my mind isn't  always good. Growing up

 in the small town I could go anywhere I wanted.

The town now is more than twice as big though

still small compared to many other places. 

These days parents wouldn't allow their children 

to go anywhere they wanted like in my day. I  

pretty much went to the same places.  I  didn't  

go out of the neighborhood much except going 

to school. We didn't have buses so I  had to walk 

most everywhere I wanted to go.

Though independence  still runs in me to some degree

I  enjoy seeing other people  as much as possible. I

don't  want  to  keep to myself that much. When I  am

by myself  sometimes  drives me crazy or I  feel lonely.  

Not all the time but more than what I  want to be.

The who thing about sharing  ourselves  with others

besides the culture we live in is how vulnerable we want

to be. I know a woman in one of my church home groups

knows her life purpose  is to care for others, however 

she finds it to be vulnerable to share her life with others.

She admits she enjoys being alone with herself and

her husband. 

Often being vulnerable  means you might get hurt 

and people don't  like that. Still important to be 

vulnerable even if it is to a small selected group. 

This is where healing can happen. Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

Having Affection

I believe it is important  to  greet others

with affection.  How that works depends 

on the country  or culture you live in.

In the Bible  like Roman's 12:12 it mentions

to greet  one another with a  holy kiss. Some

countries like France  and Italy to name a

few will kiss on the cheek.  Those who are 

real close might on the lips.

Here in the United States  depending where

you live or your culture  will be different. Also,

the age group  might be different  as well.  The

other day at the gym a few young boys greeted

me with the fist. I  found it to be an honor and

affection. Another way is  giving a high five with

one of your hands. Depending on how you are

wired it might be a hug. 

So whatever way you are or accustomed to show

your affection  to another. At the very least it

will make  your day.❤️❤️❤️

Yes Have the Faith

I have known those who don't  feel 

they have faith for their life purpose. 

They have had  to be reminded faith

only has to be as small as a mustard

seed as Jesus  Christ said. In fact

you can move mountains  with that

small seed.

It doesn't  matter  how much faith you 

have enough.  It doesn't  mean it will

be easy. Just remember  not to have

doubt  and not be discouraged. I 

have to say the same to myself.  ❤️❤️❤️

Circle of Friends

I am sure most of us have a

group of friends we spend time

with.

This is a good spot to live our life 

of purpose. This is especially true

for those who are beginning to

know their life of purpose. We can

practice our gifts and talents with

these friends. 

The world needs each of us. The

reason we were created for. To

start out with a group of friends

is ideal.

Being Thankful

It is so important  that we are thankful

each day. We can become depressed 

very  easy if we are not.

You would think knowing  our life 

purpose would keep  us from being 

depressed  however that isn't always 

the case. As we may say "life happens".

We should be thankful when we go to

bed and again when we wake. Two

good times to be thankful. Just thought 

of it in the middle of the day would be

a good time to be thankful.

Even when we are not having a good 

day we should still be thankful.  If for

no other reason we are here and things

may get better as the day goes on.

The positive  thing is today is a new

day and we can be happy and thankful

for it.  ❤️❤️❤️

A Change Today

I think it is a good  idea  to  change 

from the  routine.

Today I am  going on driving adventure.

A nice thing to do every  once in a while.

See what I  do with my purpose  as well. 

Seeing other places and meeting  new 

people is a good thing. I see new people 

most days however seeing them in a 

different place is good too.

Let Others Know

When it comes to life purpose not

everyone  knows.

In fact I  would say many don't 

know or think about it. They are 

on this journey without knowing.

If you know someone  who  looks

life they don't  live with a purpose 

let them know. This is especially 

someone you know. Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

Relationships

When it comes down to  our life purpose 

it comes down to our relationships. 

Relationships  is why we we were created. 

First of God wants us to have relationship

with him and not religion. Maybe your religion

is very  important  to  you however this was

not God's  idea.

You don't  have to hangout  with people

all the time however  it does help out.

Occasionally  we have to take a timeout 

but for a very  short period.  

Marriage  is  real important  for  it where

relationship is at it's  fullest. You won't  

agree on everything  but you must have

relationship continue no matter what is

going on. God's  idea for relationship 

was in marriage and not just to have

children.  The children  are  an important 

part of relationships and purpose.  How

we relate to our children tells us a lot.

This to is where have relationship with

God. People often don't  want relationship 

with God because of how they had with

their parents especially  their father. Those

who have a special relationship  with their

father likely  have with God too. Those who

have a  terrible relationship  with their

father probably  don't have a good one with

God and have trouble with other relationships 

to. They may go to religion to think more

positive about themselves. 

This  is  very important  to  think about. We 

are to have relationships with God and others.

Get to know God and others. It doesn't mean

you have to talk a lot just spend time with

people if you lack in this area. If you don't 

lack I am sure you  agree with me. ❤️❤️❤️

Building a character

Watching sports I realized Saturday  a team

builds a character with each member having 

a part. This goes for our purpose as well. 

If you are part of a small group whether

at church or work or some other organization 

you play as a team as well. 

Each member have gifts and talents. Though

some members may have some of the same

gifts and talents they will vary some as well.

On a sports team there will be several with

running  speed. How each one uses the

speed will be different  as well.

In all together  the group  will have character 

based on the talent and gifts of each member.

When you look at different groups  you may

see similar gifts however the character of

each will be different. 

This works for us as individuals as well.  We don't 

have just one gift or talent we have several.  How

many depends on the person however they make

up our character too. Whether an individual or a

team we have a purpose.  How we use our purpose 

will be unique  to  each one.  ❤️❤️❤️

The Book of Psalms

In the Old Testament  there is the book

of Psalms. There  are  a total  of 50.

Majority of them were written by King

David of Israel. The same one in the

story of David and Goliath. 

You could read five of them per day

and have them all read in one month.

Each psalm are witten in poetic form.

They were songs as well  during the

Old Testament  times. Some you can 

hear and sing today though I am sure

sound different than back then.

Though there are several English versions 

I consider King James still the best for

the Psalms. 

The reason  I  bring Psalms up is we can

feel the heart of God for all human beings.

Also I  am  sure  you  can feel and find

out your purpose  through reading the

Psalms.  Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

Your Best Friends

Besides the obvious you and your

best friends being there for one another

they are part of your purpose. 

In fact best friends play a major  role 

in your life purpose.  They are part

of your life purpose as you are there's.

You are new in discovering your life 

purpose  your best friends can be 

honest with you by letting you know

what your best gifts and talents are.

I am sure you know what you are best

at however  they are able to confirm 

to you. Think right now about your 

best friends what gifts and talents 

they have. You may have some similar 

talents and if not they are your best

friends to help you out in the areas

you lack.

Have a great weekend  and  let your 

best friends how much you appreciate 

them. You have known your purpose

for a long time then your best friends 

are the ones you do your main purposes 

for. ❤️❤️❤️

Being Positive

It is so important  we stay positive no

matter what is going on in our lives.

I feel  good health wise now so I hope

stays this way for a while.

My health recently  was a downer however

I decided that I  wasn't  going  to  let it 

stop me from my purpose.  

Being called a local missionary along

with  a blogger to give us all encouragement.

When I  write here it isn't  for everyone 

else to encourage but I  encourage myself.

Whether I see someone  I know to chat 

with or a person  meeting for the first

time being a local missionary gives me 

joy in my purpose.  

I hope to be able to travel other places

to see and speak with others. Also to

prayer for whoever needs it.

I wish you the very best  in your purpose. 

We should be here for each other whether

it is meeting  at some time or keeping 

thoughts and prayers for each other.  ❤️❤️❤️

Less Stress

The one thing can keep  us to 

living the life as long as possible 

and the purpose  to go with it

is stress.

My hear doctor told me to avoid 

stress as much as possible.  Not

always  the easiest  thing to do. 

The answer is to trust God in

everything.  His love and concern 

for us means no matter what

trust and faith must be our golden

rules.  ❤️❤️❤️

It is hot here this morning 

Going to be the hottest  day

of the year it seems 

Thankful not in Arizona 

One of the few days it would be 

nice to have air conditioning 

At least my car has air conditioning 

I pray  that  someone will need to be

encouraged knowing  their life has

meaning. They are here for a purpose 

and not just existing. 

May everyone  who reads this be blessed 

today and their life is changed. Amen

Zeal and Passion

We should all have zeal and passion

for our life purpose.  This doesn't 

mean we overwhelm others with 

our purpose. 

We love the purpose  that God has

given us that we want to  spend time 

doing it. We don't  want  to  be distracted 

 by other things that are not part of 

our purpose.  It doesn't  mean  there 

are things we should avoid but our 

purpose  should be what we spend 

our time doing most of all. ❤️❤️❤️

Looking At Wisdom

Wisdom is one of the spiritual  gifts. 

Someone who seems smart or wise

may have the gift but not necessarily. 

Someone who has the Wisdom gift 

will be able to tell you something 

practical if you have a complicated

problem to solve it.

One time using the wisdom gift I had 

them look at both sides of the issue.

They could decide how they wanted

to proceed. 

So if you have a complicated problem 

go to someone you feel has the gift

of wisdom. They  will help you sort it

out.  ❤️❤️❤️

Hello Friday

Here we are at the end of the work week. 

Some here don't  work on Friday  since

they work longer hours.

I can tell since the  traffic  is  busy all

day long on Friday. Being summer adds

to it as well. 

Our population  has more than doubled

in the last 20 years. North of downtown 

was woods 20 years ago. Now the houses

and shopping centers it has more population 

then the original town. 

The traffic on the highway is more than double 

at the same time as well.  No work has been 

done to add at least another lane to help out.

The north area is still where most growth 

will happen though how much more expansion 

is hard to tell. They added an elementary school

two years ago since there wasn't  one there and

the other elementary schools were overcrowded.

It is interesting  to  think over several  years  

another town just came about though it is

included with the old Town population wise.

It allows more taxes for the whole town too.

They have add more sports complexes too.

Anyway we are saying hello to Friday. What 

is your purpose for today? Do you allow it

to be bit different  than the other days of the

week. Something  to think about however

your purpose  should be so natural every day

has work to do.  ❤️❤️❤️

My Life Purpose?

We all have  a  life  purpose  whether we 

realize is it or not.

The ultimate  life purpose  begins with

having a relationship with  God  and  his

son Jesus  Christ. This is more than 

religion. Some may a religious relationship 

with God however this is more than that.

Are number one  purpose  is to worship

God. This is the true reason we were created. 

This can include being on your knees or

raising your hands. This is between you and 

God.  Also praising him with your lips.

Everything  you do your motive is to worship 

God.

Number two is to love your parents and obey

them. Not an easy task always and we all have

fallen in this area. Also to love everyone as we

love ourselves.  Another task not easy to do

at times.

Number three is the gifts and talents God 

has given to us. We have natural talents and

we have supernatural gifts God has given to

those have relationship with  him.

The gifts and talents are to be used for 

helping others. This to is another way to

worship God  as well. There is a lot to 

deal with in each of these areas. The

main thing is God loves you and wants 

a relationship with you. Your worship

of him will bring love between him and 

you. Amen!  ❤️❤️❤️

To Edify

On Facebook  I have a group  I started

called Edify. I  am  that post the most

though anyone  can. 

I post scripture  daily to build others up.

There is a slight different  edify and

encouragement.  Basically  edify is

encouraging someone to be better.

If you are on Facebook then you are 

more than welcome and look up groups 

and select edify.

In a way here on look at life purpose I 

am edifying you to build up in your

life purpose. We can never stop becoming 

better at it. We can add more gifts and talents.

Spiritual  gifts we will only have  certain

ones. God can add on gifts but we won’t have

them all. It doesn't  mean we can't  use all

the gifts in some portion or another. For 

example  we can encourage others even if

we don't  have the gift. The difference  is 

those we ho have the gift of encouragement 

use it at a higher level. This is how all the

gifts work.   ❤️❤️❤️

A Special Day

We should all look at today as special.

We may have woken up having different 

ideas about it.

The circumstances  we are in or our past

has come into our mind and heart thinking

totally  different. 

We should make a decision  whatever the

circumstances  or the past we are going 

to make today special.  We will be much 

happier and fulfilled  people.

Jesus Christ  said not to worry  about  

tomorrow since today has enough to

worry  about. This is true  and not worry 

about yesterday either.

We should think about our purpose and

how can make the best of it and be happy.

What To Say

I am sure some people  want to

know how to talk to people they

have never met before.

One question  would be how did 

you talk to your friends the first

time you met them. I figure we

started a conversation in some

and another.

I find that I  talk to someone I  have

never met before as though they are

friends. I am a talker so might be easier

for me though it hasn't  always been

this way for me.

Depending  where I  am  and the person 

I  will talk to  what I  will say. Some I will

start by saying hello. Others how is your day

or start on some subject. Right now it might 

be how is your summer.

At the grocery store  I will talk to those in 

the checkout line. Sometimes  I will see

what groceries  they have bought and

comment about that. I  have a good sense 

of humor so I  will say something funny

somewhere in the conversation.  I have 

learned to keep the conversation short

or at least the subject. I may talk two or

three subjects Depending how much time

we have. Sometimes conversations will

last a minute or less. Some people I may

end with enjoy the  rest of the day. I  do

the same thing at coffee shop while in

line to.

Anyway a few tips. Just be yourself. There

are some people  that make it difficult. 

They don't  want  to  talk at all. In those

cases you keep  real brief or say nothing

at all. Just smile. I say hello  or how are

you. There response will dictate anything 

further or not.  ❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊

Love Is A Gift

In the Bible we are commanded to

love one another. In English we have

one word for love though it can mean

for all types of love.

In Greek  there is at least four different 

types of love. 

Agape  love is what is mentioned  in 

1Corinthians 13. This the kind of love

we are to have for others especially 

those we don't  know  very well or 

acquainted with. Agape love is a choice

sacrifice for others without feelings or

emotions. 

Storge is affection for the type you have

for your family.  It is called casual affection.

It is important  and can be for others outside

your family too.

Eros this is romantic love. This the one you

have for your spouse or girlfriend or boyfriend.

Philia is friendship  love. You became friends 

as children or you bonded over similar interest.

It is so important  we have all four types of

love. Our life purpose is to have love and to

share it especially agape and eros. Storge

is lifetime love and philia will be when it

happens.

Saturday You Are Here

Saturday has to be one of our favorite 

days of the week.  If we could chat 

with a day of the week Saturday  would

be at or near the top the list.

Saturday  is a day of the week where

we can get things done when we can't 

during the work  week.  We can enjoy

doing our hobby, having family and friends

over or going out of town on a short

vacation.  Whatever we choose  Saturday 

would be a day to do it.

May you have a great Saturday whatever

your choice is. May God bless the day.

Rejoicing

There are many who have the talent to

sing. We all have the chance to rejoice

even if we don't  have the talent to do

so in singing.

In the Bible it is mentioned to sing and

rejoice with a noise. This means none 

of us are off the hook.

This doesn't  mean you have to sing

loud in a church h service or elsewhere.

You can rejoice at home or out in your

yard if you choose to. That is the thing

do you choose to sing and rejoice.

All I  know to is children love to rejoice

and have a good time. Whether singing

is included or not. Putting on a happy face 

is a good idea.  ❤️❤️❤️

What a Beautiful World

We live in such a beautiful world. 

The trouble is us humans mess

it up so much.

We allow our greed, strongholds 

and sins make it not what it should 

be.

Love, encouragement, mercy and faith

should be the backbone of our lives.

We let our purpose of gifts and talents

to stand out. ❤️❤️❤️

Welcome To August

I hope you had a good and relaxing

July. Many people go on vacation

in July. Maybe you are a smart one

who goes on vacation in August.

July is the best month for weather in Washington State and this year was

not a disappointment in that regard.

August can go either way here. Sometimes

It is really nice while times can be cloudy

and rain on occasion. Not a lot of rain

however it does happen.

July is a good time to come to Washington

on vacation. Want smaller crowds can 

come in August if you don't mind some cloudy days. This year the sun is still

out to start out. September is a good time

to come to Washington. The weather usually pretty nice for much of the month. 

The crowds will be smaller since children

be back in school. Hotel rates likely less

expensive to unless you are one that likes

to camp out and sleep in a tent. 

September is good to go to the San Juan

Islands as the ferries won't be as crowded 

either. Those who are local August is

better to go on vacation if you plan to

go elsewhere. Staying home in July is

a good idea.  Good tips to keep for

your vacation next year.

So if you did go on vacation in July

I have another tip. Right down on

paper what you liked about your vacation

and what you might do better on your

next trip. Also write down one of your

life purpose gift and how it went. How

many people you may have met and what

you did to help in their lives as well as

what they did for you.

Remember since we all have a life purpose

not only are we are here to help with our

unique gifts and talents everyone is to

help us out too.

You have the gift of encouragement use

it well. You have the gift of hospitality

invite many people over. Make a goal

to see how many you can invite over

each week and for the month. Include

inviting someone who has the gift of

encouragement. Of course whatever 

the theme is for each time of gathering

at your place or elsewhere think of

those who have other gifts too.

I hope this hss all been helpful. A bit

long so I hope you read it all even if
