Goodness and Mercy

Here we are on the second Monday 
of the year. We have fifty more to go.
Oh by the way I  won't count down
since I  am sure to forget at some
point. Lol

Beginning a new week we should 
show goodness and mercy. I am 
sure we will be tested on it. We 
will have to show goodness and
mercy.
The world  doesn't  have  a lot
of either one so we should be
thankful when  others show us
goodness and mercy. In the
meantime we show it ourselves.

Family Time

In many countries  and  cultures 
Sunday is family time. It is really 
good time to get together. 

Family can be close friends 
friends as well.  Often you spend
more time with friends than you
do with your siblings.

Those you spend the most time
with can be called community
as well.  They may be part of a
group you belong to like a yoga
or dance class. You may not

know many of them as you do

your friends however you have

the same interest.

Enjoy your Sunday as you spend 

time with family. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Organization

Some people have much more talent
for organizing than others. I  know I
lack in that area to some degree.

I do try hard to organize  though I 
know there are those where organizing 
comes easy for them.

Those who lack in organizing  should  
go to a friend that can organize very 
easy. Though you may never reach
their level at least you should get
better than you are now.

This is a good tip for anything you
would like to get better at than you
are right now.  This is why we have
our gifts and talents to help others
who lack in those areas. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Going Ahead

We all know that life is short.
We are not guaranteed  how
long we will be here so we 
must make the best of it.

Some will say we should live
today as though it is our last.
Sounds right in some ways.

Jesus  Christ  said don't worry 
about tomorrow  since today 
has enough trouble. There is
a lot of truth to that.

So taking Jesus'  words let 

our purpose  work on what 

our  trouble and those of 

others. I deal with loneliness  

at times  and I  know a lot of

people  do  as well. I  was 

given advice about six 

months to find others who
are lonely and friends with 

them. A great way to use 

my purpose.

Another good piece of 

advice is  to find those 

who have the same 
or similar gifts and 

talents. These  people  

will become your  good 
friends. 

Let 2024 be like no 

other year in our lives. 

Go ahead and pursue 

others. Those who 

need help and those 

who can help us. 

Often those who 

need help can help 

us too.  ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Gotcha

In sports, a player on offense
or defense will make a  big 
play wins the game.  The 
player or team can say we
gotcha. 

We can do the same in our
life purpose with victories.
In these cases we are 
helping someone out. 

We should  this way we have

defeated whatever has kept

the other person  from having 

victory in their lives before.

Back To Normal

Now that the holiday season is over 
it is back to work or you are retired 
doing whatever you normally do.

Yes it is an adjustment  especially  

if  you have been off for a couple 

of weeks. Your regular work or 

routine is a major part of your 

purpose.  You were called to it 

at least for this time.

I  recommend though when the 

opportunity arises to spend time 

throughout the year as a holiday. 

Most likely the days you have 

off whether the weekend or 

during the week. Invite a small 

group of friends  over for dinner 

and a party.  

Since our lives are short we must 

spend some days in the manner 

we like. A part of our purpose.  ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Making An Impact

Not everyone  thinks they  can 
make an impact on the world 
they live in.  It isn't in their
character or heart.

We all make an impact no matter
how large or small. We have a
way that affects others that we
are around. If  we are a parent  
what we do affects our children 
either positive or negative.  The
same goes for their friends.


I don't  know  about you but 

seeing  people and hearing  

what they say certainly has 

an impact on me. When I  

see someone with a sad
face I wonder if they are 

having a bad day or is that 

common for them. In fact 

at the YMCA when I am  

walking the track most 

people  have the same 

look each time I see them. 

I  am  not  sure what that 

means other than their 

look walking.

Let's  make 2024 a year 

of positive  impact. Let 

it be an important part 

of our purpose.  Let 

others know they are 

important and are here 

for the same reason we 

are. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Memories Of Heading Into New Year

Now it is 2024 I remember back in
high school that 2000 seemed so
far away in the future. It came much
faster than I  thought it would.  Here
we are 24 years later. Time does go
by so fast.

You think about 9-11 and the tragedy 
of the Twin Towers in New York. Small
children who lost loved ones on that
day are all grown up and some of them
now have children of their own. A whole
other generation and another already
here. There are those not yet born who 

are in their twenties or teenagers.  

Life goes on are we are here for the 
purpose to help the generations 

behind us. The world is more 

different than 2000. They think 

differently and act differently than
when we were their age. Not all 

good either.

We must set an example to make 

things better and right. Help those 

who are needing help. Be there 

when they are calling or when we 

see help too. Amen!

2024

Welcome to  2024. Most people  are
optimistic this year will  be  better 
than 2023. Of course, it makes sense.

I hope to be able to post some success
stories regarding our life purpose. 
For example, those who are mentoring 
or tutoring  those who are helping will
have breakthrough.  Actually  whoever
we deal with in our purpose will have
success.

Remember we are here for this time.
We were created for this time and
the world seems to need us. We can
help those in our world of influence. 
At the same time, we can receive help
from others as well.  ❤️❤️❤❤️

We Are Capable Of

We should realize that  we are 
more capable of doing things  
then we know. 

Our gifts and talents are the
reason we can do much more.
We can look at the top athletes 
or musicians  to see that.

The important  thing  is  to  use 
those gifts and talents  as often
as we can. 

On the otherhand  we can't  think

we are so special with super powers.

We use these gifts and talents to

make the world a better place.

We are made in God's  image. If we 

are children  of God then this our 

duty to do our life purpose. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Going Forward

The one positive word I  have  heard
on social media  in 2023 most often 
is gratitude. It is a good thing though
there are other things positive to
speak about compassion, truth, love,
hope and faith.

Negative words are the enemy of those
things. The great enemy is greed or
selfishness.  We all have a bit of both
in our nature. The key is how much 
can we contain them?

We may ask why there are always wars
going on. The answer comes down to
greed. Countries want to have what the
other countries have whether they have
any of their own. The same goes for our 
lives we want what others have. We can
have them in a positive way or be selfish. 

Our purpose  should always include the 
positive  things and to fight against the 
bad things like greed. In our nature, it is
hard to overcome greed and selfishness 
so we need to be in spiritual warfare.
The other part of us since  we are made 
up natural and spiritual. Only God can
help. 

Be Yourself

It is so important to be yourself. 
For so many of the past shows 
many of us try to be someone  
else. The history  of  our childhood 
is the major reason we try to be 
someone different. 

If you are a mentor  for a young  
person  especially  a teenager it
is important  they know their value
for being themselves. Counseling 
about their experience will go 
along ways.  

You are a tutor for young people 
you can be a mentor as well. They
trust you in the subjects they are 
being tutored they will look to
you as a mentor as well.  Depending 
on their family situation, this is
important as well. You can give your 
life experience especially when you
were  their age.  

I know this sounds like a common
sense and you may be doing these
things already just a good reminder.

New Year's Coming Soon

I hope that 2023 was a successful year
for you and 2024 will be even better. 
You discovered your life purpose or
it expanded more so.

Where we are today will be greater
tomorrow.  What we are meant to
do before we move on to be with
God in heaven.

God has things for us to do here.
The reason we are still here. Every 

day is a new experience even if

we go to our job or gym or coffee 

shop or grocery store we will see

new people  or those we do already

know.

Write  down what you accomplished 

in 2023 and what you would like to

in 2024. Enjoy today and love.
