Rounding Out The Year

I am sure most of us are amazed how fast this year has gone by now that we are into the last month of the year. Of course we really shouldn’t be amazed because every year seems to go by faster than the year before.

December is interesting because most of us stay busy this month. We have parties at work or with friends and likely both. Of course those who celebrate Christmas it is going out and getting a tree. This is especially true if you have small children. Going out and getting presents is a big deal as well though I am sure more are doing so on line.

I received news yesterday from my cousin Christy that she and her husband David will be driving up from Arizona on the way back to their home in British Columbia. They are my cousins that I had planned to see this last summer that didn’t work out because wild fires and then again September however their daughter-in-law got ill. So it will be nice to see them as usual and plan to see them in up at their place in 2018. We will make plans when they visit and most likely go late spring before any threat of wild fires.

If you have any time during December it would be good to reflect over the last year. I am sure like most there are good times and bad ones as well. I hope that no one lost a family member or a friend this year and if you have that you have peace and that 2018 will be better in this regard. Also it will be good for us to pray for each other who reads this blog even though we likely don’t know each other that we will have a safe and healthy new year along with making differences in the lives of others using our gifts and talents to their fullest.

So Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and best wishes to everyone this month and may your family be well and blessed. Amen!
