Wednesday Night hearing the
fireworks that were going off nearby made me realize for the first time that it
sounded like gunfire. In fact it made me think it was the sound when the
Americans were fighting the British to gain their independence.
Although the United States
of America has been independent now for two hundred and forty-two years there
are still issues that the people are still fight for.
The question we can all ask
what are we fighting for. I am sure we all have something in our lives that has
not been answered. It could be what we believe in or who we are. We might feel
others don’t take us seriously in what we believe or in us. It is important
that we let others know and at the same time that they can be heard as well.
We don’t need to use guns
however there are times where we should be heard. We are all special and unique
in our own way and we have to be heard. It doesn’t mean we have to shout to the
world the guns that are going on inside us we may just want to tell one other
person or a small group.
The first thing we must
realize is that we do have something to fight for. It doesn’t mean we have to
share with someone else unless the time and circumstance is right. Maybe all we
have to do is let the guns go out in our heart; something to think about.
