I find it amazing when I hear about someone has passed away who made a difference in his world or job. On Christmas Day former Seattle Sounders head coach, Sigi Schmid died to wait for a heart transplant. He had kept it silent from most people in the world of soccer or the rest of the world calls football.
Those who knew him played for him or had hired him as coach talked about what an influence he had in the sport along with the time he spent in Seattle. I am not a big follower of soccer however I did know his name though. He coached the Sounders to an MLS championship.
I believe there is not a bigger honor than those you have known to give you praise. Men and women like Sig Schmid gave their lives to their craft and their leadership.
I know we can all name those we honor for what they have done in our lives. We especially honor those people who have helped make our lives better whether our parents, a close friend or mentor.
You may not speak many words but your actions still says a lot. Living a life of purpose shows others how their lives should be like. Keep it up today and the times ahead.
