Happy New Year’s

I remember when I was in high school how far off the next century seemed to be. Now it is 2020; we are starting the 20th year of the 21st century.

I still figure the number one thing to do is take one day at a time. Jesus Christ said not to worry about tomorrow because it will take care of its own and that is very true.

When it comes to our life purpose doing it today is all we have. We should do it for our very best for tomorrow isn’t promised at all.

We should treat each other like today is the last day we will see one another because it could be. Those we love and care about we should say I love you every single day.

One of the assistant coaches of the Louisiana State University Tigers football team who will play for the National Championship a week from Monday his wife died in a plane crash on the way to the game that was played on Saturday. Before the accident she texts him, saying “I love you”.  He wasn’t able to write her back not reading the message until after the accident. What a sad story but at the same time he knows that she loved him. Nothing greater than that other than hearing from God how much he loves you; his love is greater than the assistant’s coach's wife for him.  He will be grieving for a while; however, someday they will have a reunion where he can respond back “I love you too”. I am sure she already knows.

Until next time let today be the best one ever. Amen!
