Wet Weekend

April  here in Western  Washington  

is going out with showers. So

May should have nice f.owers.

We have already have about half of

our yearly rainfall.  Hopefully  we 

won't have much rain until  the fall. 

Last year we had record temperatures 

in the summer.  I  hope it won't happen 

this year. I have heard we are supposed 

to have hot weather  again. I would be

fine with our normal summer weather. 

At least here we don't have  high humidity 

like many places do. Want to  find a place

to visit for vacation we are a good spot

to come for the summer.  We have mountains,

lakes, rivers and ocean. Taking a ferry ride

to the San Juan Islands or on the Puget 

Sound is a good way to go.

Say Yes

When it comes to  our gifts and talents 

we have both natural and spiritual. 

Whether you  believe  or not we are 

spiritual  beings besides our natural 

bodies.

We can use our natural  talents with

our spiritual  gifts.  For example,  we 

have a natural  talented singing voice

we can sing a song of encouragement 

which is  a  spiritual  gift. This could

bring a lot to  one or several  people 

a change spiritually in their lives.

Say yes to  both your natural  talents 

and spiritual  gifts.  Not only make a

difference in others lives can for you

to. 😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰

Joining Together

There are times we should be

alone, however, being with 

others will make us stronger.

I enjoy my time both at the

coffee shop and the athletic

club. There is something

dynamic about being together.

We can learn so much from

other people. I enjoy the laughter

as well. This is especially true

with friends and family. I enjoy

meeting new people too.

I encourage us to join together

with others as often as we can.

We can than go be by ourselves

and think about what we have 

been doing. We can appreciate

others when we spend time alone.

Sometimes Happens

Today is one of  those rare days 

I don't  have  much on my mind.

It is important  to be thankful for

each day  and  those in our lives.

Watch out not to be taken advantaged 

as well. In this world there are those

who will want to  take advantage of

us often with kind words. Be careful 

today not to be. 😊😊😊

Important About Family

Outside of  God  I  believe family

is important above all else. 

Unfortunately not everyone has 

had the good  experience  I  have.

My family  been  close all my life.

I am  not  saying  perfect  but better 

than many. 

It is sad many families  are dysfunctional.

Often that happens  for generations.

It is important  to  pray  for our family. 

Friends especially  those for a long time 

are  more family than our natural one.

This is good  for  those that have trouble 

family.  Whatever the case we need to  be 

blessed for what we have.  ❤❤❤

Stand Tall

There are those who don't care

much about us or have made

up their minds who we are.

We need to stand tall knowing

who we are. We may never be

as successful as we like or

others may think. It doesn't

make a difference. Be who

God made you to be and the

purpose you are intended to

do. Those who need you will 

appreciate you even if it is

only a few. Amen!  😊😊😊

Cold Than Hot

It was relative,however,  here in my

small town of Gig Harbor Washington 

the morning was overcast and cold.

At least  for  spring. 

The afternoon  wasn't  actually hot

but certainly  a lot warmer  than the 

morning. 

Mid-afternoon I  went to a farewell 

party. The couple  we were celebrating 

their farewell  were late which was 

fine. We got in a lot of good  stories 

and laughs.

One  woman talked about a robbery 

at a clothing store that went bad. The

police  were unable to arrest them as

they left the scene but were unable

to take any items with  them.

She saw this all happening from a 

distance.  I  said you sure that you

were not dreaming this. I  added 

this is better than  reality tv.TV.

Sunday is expected  to  be warm 

but cloudy. This means I will be 

to go for a walk before church.

This coming week  we are expecting 

light rain most of the  week.  This

means it will  likely  not rain most 

of the day but the rain will  happen.

A Busy Weekend

This weekend will be busy for

me. Saturday afternoon going

to a farewell party for a couple

who are moving to Oklahoma

next week. They have two children

living there.

On Sunday afternoon I will go to

a birthday party. It will be interesting

because most of the people going

I likely don't know. Actually it is a

retirement and farewell party too.

The woman and her family are 

moving to Tennessee in three weeks.

A lot of people moving out of Washington state because of politics

and taxes. Also, standard of living

higher than Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Who knows I could move eventually

myself. 

I am glad I don't live in Seattle. It is 

dangerous place to live in the past

two years. The politics and defending

the police department hss made it

undesirable to live. Friday night on

the news with a shooting a gentleman

said Seattle isn't the same. This

gentleman was being interviewed 

by the television station near the

shooting. 

I desire to go where I can encourage

others and I will let you know how it

goes. Amen! 

Time and Destiny

Time and destiny is not just who are family

 is but those who will meet and see during 

2022.

We can choose to go out early or later in 

the day and where we go and those we see 

can be among the destiny.

Being a member of the YMCA now I see 

some that I knew when I was growing up 

and in school. Also, I see some new people

 as well on a regular basis. They come the 

same days I do.

I talk to some while others I give an eye

 or hand too. It doesn't matter other than I 

can make a difference in their lives even 

speaking same words. I love saying hi to 

young children. They may never see me 

again, but I hope the time we see each other 

will rub off of them. This what makes life

interesting to me. Amen!

Good Times

I woke up  this morning  thinking about 

the best days of our lives.  At the same 

time we can't  forget the worst times too.

Thinking of the past I believe  is a growing 

experience  for us. We can be a better

person  from our mistakes as well as our 

successes.

The worst day I am  sure  has to  do with  

bad news. A loss of a loved one or hearing 

about news about our health. Both are

tragic for sure. The best was likely  meeting 

our best  friend or a new member of  the family.

As mentioned  before not good to live in the 

past, however,  remembering  is good.  Amen!

Making Sense

One way of making sense of our 

life purpose is observing  others 

and seeing  whether  we can  figure 

there's. 

I have given words to others  what I  

believe  their life purpose is. Not

the whole picture but in partial. 

I have never  sat down  and observed

others  just to get the sense of their 

purpose.  

One way would be to  see one characteristic.

For example, do they have a sense of  

humor or they seem  to  be  smart. It would

be good to  do with  several  people. 

We all  have  a  different  purpose,  however, 

we can have similar characteristics. How

we use them may differ  from  one another.

Good luck and see how the exercise goes.

Two Questions

The two question what do you want

and what does God wants.

The answer hopefully is both theat God wants same. Unfortunately the answers are different often.

What God wants for us is better than

what we want or go for. Today we

should choose what God wants. It

will be the best.  Amen!

Thinking Positive

It takes faith for us to think

positive. Whatever our past

was it is in the past.Quite 

profound right? 😅

Our purpose should be here 

today.  Whatever mistakes 

we made in the past should

not affect today. We can be 

the purpose intended from

the beginning. We can go 

where we were supposed 

to go. Make the plans and

go. Amen! ❤❤❤

Happy Easter

The Holy Week  concludes with the

celebration  of  Easter.  Many Christians 

call it "Resurrection Day" as Jesus  Christ 

rose up from the dead on the third day.

Jesus  Christ  spent 40 days with  his

followers before ascending to heaven. 

Since we will all die at some point those

who believe and follow  Jesus  Christ 

will resurrect at some point  too.

This makes Easter  a day to really 

celebrate what Jesus  Christ did on

the cross to give us new life. Amen!

Filling Out His Purpose

Here it is early Saturday. I know in somenparts it is late Saturday or

early  Sunday. 

Jesus Christ fulfilled his purpose

as we should do ours. Part of our

purpose is to lay down our lives

though not in the same fashion.

The world needs to know there

is hope and we must do the best

we can to fulfill it. 

It is not always what we say but by

our actions. How we treat our family

and friends. Can be a smile on our

face or our humor. Whatever we do

find the best way and the time to 

do it.  Amen!  

Good Friday

This Friday  during  Holy Week is known

as Good  Friday.  Christians across  the 

World celebrate this the day of Jesus 

Christ crucifixion.  The day he was nailed

and died on the cross. 

All Christians  are  familiar  with the verse

in the New Testament  John 3:16. God so

loved the world he sent his son not to

condemn the world  but to save it.

May you  blessed  by what Jesus  Christ  

did for  you  on the cross and the celebration 

of his resurrection on Easter Sunday.  Amen!

A Transformation

I pray right now that we all  be

transformed this week. This 

will  be  the  best  Easter we

have ever had. 

Our transformation would  e

spiritually.  We would be able

to fight the battle like we have

not been  able to  do  before. 

Also,  our relationship with God 

would be the best ever. Amen!

The Halfway

We are now  halfway of Holy Week. 

At least if you don't  count the weekend. 

A good  time to  reflect how the week 

has gone so far. It would be good

to spend time meditating and pray.

Meditating  on our lives during  this 

week and pray for the rest of the week. 

Pray for ourselves along with  our family 

and friends. Also, for those we don't 

know. Amen!❤❤❤💕💕💕

Jealousy Won't Get Us Anywhere

This being  Holy Week  makes me remember 

jealousy doesn’t  get us anywhere. 

Jealousy  by the religious leaders and people 

was the outcome of Jesus Christ  being hung 

on a cross  and dying.  The  purpose of Christ 

dying  was to forgive us all for  our sins and

a way to  heaven.

The religious  leaders didn't  like the way Jesus 

Christ  acted especially  calling  himself  God. 

They didn't  like he was spending  time  with  

" sinners." Jesus  would  heal people on the

Sabbath.  They felt  doing anything on the Sabbath 

even good  was wrong.  He didn't  fill the model 

of being  the Messiah at all.

We can go back to reading  other stories  in the 

Old Testament where lives were ruined by

jealously. In the New Testament Jesus  had a

parable  about the prodigal son. The older

brother was upset because the younger brother 

came home after squandering his inheritance 

and the father celebrated the  younger brother's 

return. The father's  response was why are you 

upset  because  this all belongs to you, however, 

your brother  has returned. We can see the older 

brother in the religious leaders and people.

Holy Week

This week is Holy Week in the Christian 

Faith. Many churches will have  additional 

services for Maundy Thursday,  Good 

Friday as well as Easter. 

A good time to invite a friend to church

or share your  faith and purpose.  The

importance is whether they are ready to 

hear or not. 

It is important  not to push your beliefs 

on someone who isn't ready to hear no 

matter how much you  care for them.

Often those closest to  you are the hardest 

to share.  Maybe  you  need to  drop a

word or two. Amen! 😊😊❤❤

Week Before Easter

This week  for many Christians it is

the most important  week  of the year.

Celebrating the resurrection of Jesus 

Christ.

For others Easter  is  the  only time

besides Christmas they go to church 

at all. There could  be those invited 

to church for the first time. 

There could be thousands whose

lives who could be changed forever. 

They could be awaken by the truth

of Jesus Christ.  The reason he died 

on the Cross  for the sins of the world. 

Whatever place someone is in this

coming week will  be  a joyous occasion.

Crazy Weather Continues

Here in Western Washington  we had 

unusual  weather  this past week and

it will continue coming up. 

We had hail and lots of rain in short

spurts.  This weekend  more rain with

possibility of  snow or hail.

Friday at noon I came out of a doctor's 

appointment  with a downpour then

five minutes later the sun appeared. 

Staying indoors  is a good idea  I think 

anyway.  Meeting  people and saying 

hello. Allow the life purpose  to  go

forward.  Amen. ❤❤

How Is Your Day

I hope everything going well

I know we all go with struggles

overtime whether health or

family issues.

I believe it is a good thing we

pray for one another though

we don't know each other.

Negative Into Positive

It doesn't  happen  as often as in the 

past but on occasion I  have  to  fight 

off the negative. 

I  am  sure  most people  have to  deal 

with the same. Often it comes from our

past.

We can read poetry or listen to songs

where the writers  have gone through 

an emotional experience in their lives. 

It is a good way to release things.

I know this is good for me and I  hope 

it helps you or someone. Amen. 💕💕

Hearing Testimonies

Wednesday night  I will  be  going  to  a

 church home meeting. Usually we have

between 10 and 20 people coming. We

meet twice a month.

Recently we  started hearing  testimonies 

from different members of the group. The

testimony usually goes about 20 minutes. 

Hearing testimonies really raises faith and

hope. Also, to find out who the person was

and who you know they are now is exciting.

Knowing  these people  are  living their life

purpose to their best ability  is good to. If

you are in a group  it is good to hear some

testimonies. Amen! ❤❤❤

Unbelievable Stones

Monday afternoon  while going on

a walk hail stones happened. 

When I  started the walk the sun 

was out though the wind was 

blowing pretty good.

Rain came about the last third

of the walk. Hail happened the

last five  minutes.  Boy was it 

something. It actually  continued 

a little  bit longer after I got 

undercover. Rain came again

for several more minutes. 

Snoqualmie Pass where interstate  

90 goes west through  to east

Washington  has had snow in

recent days.

We could say spring  hasn't really 

happened here as of yet.  I  guess

this means we will have May flowers

as long the temperatures rise soon.

Never Give Up

We know as children others

often discourage us  with

unkind words. Usually they

other kids or can be family

members.

We live with these words

spoken to or over us. They

are curse words. Even many

years later we can still be

effected by them. 

First of all important to forgive

those who have damaged us

and to rebuke the curses. We

can live happier lives this way.

Amen!  

Encourage Even Sad Times

We always know there are times where
we hear about a loved one passing or
someone of a friend. We all have known
sorrow in one form or another.

It is so important for us to give sympathy,

hope  and encouragement when a friend

or someone we know loses a family

member. 

We have to remember people handle

grief in their own way as well. How

I handle grief doesn't apply to another.

All we can do is be there for them. Amen!

Hello Weekend

Doesn't  it feel  like the weekend comes

around really fast. It certainly  does to

me.

Maybe because  I  am  getting  older

or don't  have a job and do my writing. 

I have heard time does go by faster

the older you get.

Enjoy your weekend  once  again. As I 

have said we do need time to relax

including  our minds. Still a good time

to see people  and  be an influencer.

Remember  meeting  someone the first

time will give them an impression of us

whether  good  or  bad.

May your gifts and talents  be used today.

Like About Spring

I like almost  everything about spring. 

It isn't April fools day  joke either.

I like the fact we will see  more of

the sun and the temperatures rising

as well. 

Seeing flowers  bloom and baseball 

season  happening. Though I  like

the other sports baseball is still my

favorite. It was the first sport I  began

with as a child. I  became  known as

the expert among friends and family 

about baseball.  My favorite  player 

was Willie May's though he was coming 

to the end of his career. One of the

first books I read was about Willie.

Anyway enjoy you spring unless you
