Wet Weekend

April  here in Western  Washington  

is going out with showers. So

May should have nice f.owers.

We have already have about half of

our yearly rainfall.  Hopefully  we 

won't have much rain until  the fall. 

Last year we had record temperatures 

in the summer.  I  hope it won't happen 

this year. I have heard we are supposed 

to have hot weather  again. I would be

fine with our normal summer weather. 

At least here we don't have  high humidity 

like many places do. Want to  find a place

to visit for vacation we are a good spot

to come for the summer.  We have mountains,

lakes, rivers and ocean. Taking a ferry ride

to the San Juan Islands or on the Puget 

Sound is a good way to go.

Say Yes

When it comes to  our gifts and talents 

we have both natural and spiritual. 

Whether you  believe  or not we are 

spiritual  beings besides our natural 

bodies.

We can use our natural  talents with

our spiritual  gifts.  For example,  we 

have a natural  talented singing voice

we can sing a song of encouragement 

which is  a  spiritual  gift. This could

bring a lot to  one or several  people 

a change spiritually in their lives.

Say yes to  both your natural  talents 

and spiritual  gifts.  Not only make a

difference in others lives can for you

to. 😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰

Joining Together

There are times we should be

alone, however, being with 

others will make us stronger.

I enjoy my time both at the

coffee shop and the athletic

club. There is something

dynamic about being together.

We can learn so much from

other people. I enjoy the laughter

as well. This is especially true

with friends and family. I enjoy

meeting new people too.

I encourage us to join together

with others as often as we can.

We can than go be by ourselves

and think about what we have 

been doing. We can appreciate

others when we spend time alone.

Sometimes Happens

Today is one of  those rare days 

I don't  have  much on my mind.

It is important  to be thankful for

each day  and  those in our lives.

Watch out not to be taken advantaged 

as well. In this world there are those

who will want to  take advantage of

us often with kind words. Be careful 

today not to be. 😊😊😊

Important About Family

Outside of  God  I  believe family

is important above all else. 

Unfortunately not everyone has 

had the good  experience  I  have.

My family  been  close all my life.

I am  not  saying  perfect  but better 

than many. 

It is sad many families  are dysfunctional.

Often that happens  for generations.

It is important  to  pray  for our family. 

Friends especially  those for a long time 

are  more family than our natural one.

This is good  for  those that have trouble 

family.  Whatever the case we need to  be 

blessed for what we have.  ❤❤❤

Stand Tall

There are those who don't care

much about us or have made

up their minds who we are.

We need to stand tall knowing

who we are. We may never be

as successful as we like or

others may think. It doesn't

make a difference. Be who

God made you to be and the

purpose you are intended to

do. Those who need you will 

appreciate you even if it is

only a few. Amen!  😊😊😊

Cold Than Hot

It was relative,however,  here in my

small town of Gig Harbor Washington 

the morning was overcast and cold.

At least  for  spring. 

The afternoon  wasn't  actually hot

but certainly  a lot warmer  than the 

morning. 

Mid-afternoon I  went to a farewell 

party. The couple  we were celebrating 

their farewell  were late which was 

fine. We got in a lot of good  stories 

and laughs.

One  woman talked about a robbery 

at a clothing store that went bad. The

police  were unable to arrest them as

they left the scene but were unable

to take any items with  them.

She saw this all happening from a 

distance.  I  said you sure that you

were not dreaming this. I  added 

this is better than  reality tv.TV.

Sunday is expected  to  be warm 

but cloudy. This means I will be 

to go for a walk before church.

This coming week  we are expecting 

light rain most of the  week.  This

means it will  likely  not rain most 

of the day but the rain will  happen.

A Busy Weekend

This weekend will be busy for

me. Saturday afternoon going

to a farewell party for a couple

who are moving to Oklahoma

next week. They have two children

living there.

On Sunday afternoon I will go to

a birthday party. It will be interesting

because most of the people going

I likely don't know. Actually it is a

retirement and farewell party too.

The woman and her family are 

moving to Tennessee in three weeks.

A lot of people moving out of Washington state because of politics

and taxes. Also, standard of living

higher than Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Who knows I could move eventually

myself. 

I am glad I don't live in Seattle. It is 

dangerous place to live in the past

two years. The politics and defending

the police department hss made it

undesirable to live. Friday night on

the news with a shooting a gentleman

said Seattle isn't the same. This

gentleman was being interviewed 

by the television station near the

shooting. 

I desire to go where I can encourage

others and I will let you know how it

goes. Amen! 

Time and Destiny

Time and destiny is not just who are family

 is but those who will meet and see during 

2022.

We can choose to go out early or later in 

the day and where we go and those we see 

can be among the destiny.

Being a member of the YMCA now I see 

some that I knew when I was growing up 

and in school. Also, I see some new people

 as well on a regular basis. They come the 

same days I do.

I talk to some while others I give an eye

 or hand too. It doesn't matter other than I 

can make a difference in their lives even 

speaking same words. I love saying hi to 

young children. They may never see me 

again, but I hope the time we see each other 

will rub off of them. This what makes life

interesting to me. Amen!

Good Times

I woke up  this morning  thinking about 

the best days of our lives.  At the same 

time we can't  forget the worst times too.

Thinking of the past I believe  is a growing 

experience  for us. We can be a better

person  from our mistakes as well as our 

successes.

The worst day I am  sure  has to  do with  

bad news. A loss of a loved one or hearing 

about news about our health. Both are

tragic for sure. The best was likely  meeting 

our best  friend or a new member of  the family.

As mentioned  before not good to live in the 

past, however,  remembering  is good.  Amen!

Making Sense

One way of making sense of our 

life purpose is observing  others 

and seeing  whether  we can  figure 

there's. 

I have given words to others  what I  

believe  their life purpose is. Not

the whole picture but in partial. 

I have never  sat down  and observed

others  just to get the sense of their 

purpose.  

One way would be to  see one characteristic.

For example, do they have a sense of  

humor or they seem  to  be  smart. It would

be good to  do with  several  people. 

We all  have  a  different  purpose,  however, 

we can have similar characteristics. How

we use them may differ  from  one another.

Good luck and see how the exercise goes.

Two Questions

The two question what do you want

and what does God wants.

The answer hopefully is both theat God wants same. Unfortunately the answers are different often.

What God wants for us is better than

what we want or go for. Today we

should choose what God wants. It

will be the best.  Amen!

Thinking Positive

It takes faith for us to think

positive. Whatever our past

was it is in the past.Quite 

profound right? 😅

Our purpose should be here 

today.  Whatever mistakes 

we made in the past should

not affect today. We can be 

the purpose intended from

the beginning. We can go 

where we were supposed 

to go. Make the plans and

go. Amen! ❤❤❤
