In the Old Testament, it began with Moses for the people of
Israel to hear from God. After that, it
was the Judges. Kings and the prophets. In the New Testament, it was John the
Baptist, Jesus Christ, and the Apostles.
Today the Catholic Church is the Pope and the Priests. In
the protestant church, it is ministers, pastors, and evangelists. The people
though should and can listen to God directly; not through a mediator. However,
the people of God will be where others will come to ask about God, and we must
be ready to speak at all times. We are the voices which God speaks through when
we listen to him.
