Over many years, I have watched a lot of sports on television
whether it one of the local teams playing or a national game shown or the
Olympics.
The athletes I sure feel it is all worth it even when the
victory eludes them. You can see the
agony of defeat on their faces. It is always tough when the defeat is out of
their control. This is especially true in a team sport where you have done all
you can but not enough points or goals or runs were scored or the game looks in hand but something
happens that takes victory away.
This shows to me we should never give up no matter what. No
matter how many times we lose when victory was right in front of us. It takes
determination along with faith to keep moving on but it is what we must do.
