Good Bye August 2023

Here we are  the end  of  August depending

on your time zone. The children have or 

will be heading to school.

I heard a man on Wednesday  said he was 

glad things were going back to normal. He

likes his regular routine.  

September  means more time to self and four 

months remaining in 2023. It is interesting 

September  begins with a holiday here in USA

and Canada  with Labor Day. 

Here in Western Washington  we have the Washington 

State Fair kicking off on Friday.  The weather 

usually  continues to be good in September though a

few days of rain might mix in. As a kid I  enjoyed

the fair with the rides and food. Most of all getting 

out of school  early. 

Make a list what  you  did in August. The positive 

and negative things. Also a list of what you may

do in September.

We Have Purpose No Matter What

Not everyone  believes  they have a

life purpose. If you are an atheist 

you don't  likely  believe you have

a purpose  other than just existing.

We all have a purpose whether we 

admit or not. Though I  have  been a 

Christian a long time I  never thought

much about my life purpose for quite

a few years.

It really  didn't  happen until at church

when I  heard sermons about our gifts

and talents that I  learned  about my

purpose  as well.  I  am  sure I knew

in the back of my mind I  had a purpose 

but never thought much about.

Now when I  am  part of ministry at the

Church there are other Christians who

don't  know  their purpose either. We were

created to worship and do many things

for God. Often Satan will  tell us we have

no worth. This is where we get stopped

in doing our life purpose. He still tries to

tell me I still have no worth. Though I  don't 

feel having worth sometimes I being determined 

that I  do and Satan is not going to stop me

either no matter hard he tries. I  have to say that 

is a bold statement  because he still will.

Sometimes  trying to  stop us to do our purpose 

is by us coming down with bad health or thinking

we have no worth to others. Otherwords the past

crepes in sometimes too. Anyway  a few things

to think about our purpose.  Keep  moving on the

world and the people  in it need us.  ❤️❤️❤️

Life Lessons

Every day we should go over life lessons. 

We should  learn something  from  others

as well as ourselves. 

We are not perfect people. One of my 

instructor's  says she does want to

know anyone who is perfect. I  consider 

myself  perfectly imperfect. 

Since we all make mistakes  we should 

right down these mistakes  of today in a

journal  or a list. We look at these mistakes 

daily  and  see how we can improve. Not 

make the same mistakes  again. Not easy 

since I  know I  make some over each day.

Our life lessons  should be part of our 

life purpose.  We should help others 

to become better people as well. We don't 

tell people  of their mistakes unless they

want us too. Sometimes  though we need

to be bold for those who have few friends

for how they act. We take it all on an

individual basis.   Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

Sharing One Another

I feel living my life of purpose is to share

myself  with as many people as  possible. 

I am almost sure sharing ourselves a lot

of that has to do with the culture you live 

in.

I am sure some if not many of you come

from a different  culture than mine. You

may look at your purpose different  than 

I  do.

In the United States we live a lot to do

with independence.  Here in Washington 

state we probably  do more than any place

else.

I live in in a small town so how we live

is different  than  the  big city like Seattle.

Small towns generally  more layed  back

then a city like Seattle.  When I go to Seattle 

which isn't  often I  feel as though I am in 

another country. It doesn't  mean it is bad 

just different. 

I was taught by my parents  to be independent.

That can be good or bad depending on who you

are. I like being around people so being independent 

in my mind isn't  always good. Growing up

 in the small town I could go anywhere I wanted.

The town now is more than twice as big though

still small compared to many other places. 

These days parents wouldn't allow their children 

to go anywhere they wanted like in my day. I  

pretty much went to the same places.  I  didn't  

go out of the neighborhood much except going 

to school. We didn't have buses so I  had to walk 

most everywhere I wanted to go.

Though independence  still runs in me to some degree

I  enjoy seeing other people  as much as possible. I

don't  want  to  keep to myself that much. When I  am

by myself  sometimes  drives me crazy or I  feel lonely.  

Not all the time but more than what I  want to be.

The who thing about sharing  ourselves  with others

besides the culture we live in is how vulnerable we want

to be. I know a woman in one of my church home groups

knows her life purpose  is to care for others, however 

she finds it to be vulnerable to share her life with others.

She admits she enjoys being alone with herself and

her husband. 

Often being vulnerable  means you might get hurt 

and people don't  like that. Still important to be 

vulnerable even if it is to a small selected group. 

This is where healing can happen. Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

Having Affection

I believe it is important  to  greet others

with affection.  How that works depends 

on the country  or culture you live in.

In the Bible  like Roman's 12:12 it mentions

to greet  one another with a  holy kiss. Some

countries like France  and Italy to name a

few will kiss on the cheek.  Those who are 

real close might on the lips.

Here in the United States  depending where

you live or your culture  will be different. Also,

the age group  might be different  as well.  The

other day at the gym a few young boys greeted

me with the fist. I  found it to be an honor and

affection. Another way is  giving a high five with

one of your hands. Depending on how you are

wired it might be a hug. 

So whatever way you are or accustomed to show

your affection  to another. At the very least it

will make  your day.❤️❤️❤️

Yes Have the Faith

I have known those who don't  feel 

they have faith for their life purpose. 

They have had  to be reminded faith

only has to be as small as a mustard

seed as Jesus  Christ said. In fact

you can move mountains  with that

small seed.

It doesn't  matter  how much faith you 

have enough.  It doesn't  mean it will

be easy. Just remember  not to have

doubt  and not be discouraged. I 

have to say the same to myself.  ❤️❤️❤️

Circle of Friends

I am sure most of us have a

group of friends we spend time

with.

This is a good spot to live our life 

of purpose. This is especially true

for those who are beginning to

know their life of purpose. We can

practice our gifts and talents with

these friends. 

The world needs each of us. The

reason we were created for. To

start out with a group of friends

is ideal.

Being Thankful

It is so important  that we are thankful

each day. We can become depressed 

very  easy if we are not.

You would think knowing  our life 

purpose would keep  us from being 

depressed  however that isn't always 

the case. As we may say "life happens".

We should be thankful when we go to

bed and again when we wake. Two

good times to be thankful. Just thought 

of it in the middle of the day would be

a good time to be thankful.

Even when we are not having a good 

day we should still be thankful.  If for

no other reason we are here and things

may get better as the day goes on.

The positive  thing is today is a new

day and we can be happy and thankful

for it.  ❤️❤️❤️

A Change Today

I think it is a good  idea  to  change 

from the  routine.

Today I am  going on driving adventure.

A nice thing to do every  once in a while.

See what I  do with my purpose  as well. 

Seeing other places and meeting  new 

people is a good thing. I see new people 

most days however seeing them in a 

different place is good too.

Let Others Know

When it comes to life purpose not

everyone  knows.

In fact I  would say many don't 

know or think about it. They are 

on this journey without knowing.

If you know someone  who  looks

life they don't  live with a purpose 

let them know. This is especially 

someone you know. Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

Relationships

When it comes down to  our life purpose 

it comes down to our relationships. 

Relationships  is why we we were created. 

First of God wants us to have relationship

with him and not religion. Maybe your religion

is very  important  to  you however this was

not God's  idea.

You don't  have to hangout  with people

all the time however  it does help out.

Occasionally  we have to take a timeout 

but for a very  short period.  

Marriage  is  real important  for  it where

relationship is at it's  fullest. You won't  

agree on everything  but you must have

relationship continue no matter what is

going on. God's  idea for relationship 

was in marriage and not just to have

children.  The children  are  an important 

part of relationships and purpose.  How

we relate to our children tells us a lot.

This to is where have relationship with

God. People often don't  want relationship 

with God because of how they had with

their parents especially  their father. Those

who have a special relationship  with their

father likely  have with God too. Those who

have a  terrible relationship  with their

father probably  don't have a good one with

God and have trouble with other relationships 

to. They may go to religion to think more

positive about themselves. 

This  is  very important  to  think about. We 

are to have relationships with God and others.

Get to know God and others. It doesn't mean

you have to talk a lot just spend time with

people if you lack in this area. If you don't 

lack I am sure you  agree with me. ❤️❤️❤️

Building a character

Watching sports I realized Saturday  a team

builds a character with each member having 

a part. This goes for our purpose as well. 

If you are part of a small group whether

at church or work or some other organization 

you play as a team as well. 

Each member have gifts and talents. Though

some members may have some of the same

gifts and talents they will vary some as well.

On a sports team there will be several with

running  speed. How each one uses the

speed will be different  as well.

In all together  the group  will have character 

based on the talent and gifts of each member.

When you look at different groups  you may

see similar gifts however the character of

each will be different. 

This works for us as individuals as well.  We don't 

have just one gift or talent we have several.  How

many depends on the person however they make

up our character too. Whether an individual or a

team we have a purpose.  How we use our purpose 

will be unique  to  each one.  ❤️❤️❤️

The Book of Psalms

In the Old Testament  there is the book

of Psalms. There  are  a total  of 50.

Majority of them were written by King

David of Israel. The same one in the

story of David and Goliath. 

You could read five of them per day

and have them all read in one month.

Each psalm are witten in poetic form.

They were songs as well  during the

Old Testament  times. Some you can 

hear and sing today though I am sure

sound different than back then.

Though there are several English versions 

I consider King James still the best for

the Psalms. 

The reason  I  bring Psalms up is we can

feel the heart of God for all human beings.

Also I  am  sure  you  can feel and find

out your purpose  through reading the

Psalms.  Amen! ❤️❤️❤️
