Be In Good Mind With Others

Though I  enjoy talking with anyone 
I  find it the best when doing so
with those who see things the same 
way.

I  am  sure most people  feel  the  same 
way since most gravitate to those who
are like them or want to be like them. 
You go back to childhood and there is no
better example of who you spend time 
with and who your best friends are.

I find it good to talk to others who might 
be different than me. We can learn from 
them as well. Have another worldview.
When it comes to our purpose  should
be around those whom we feel comfortable 
with or those we can influence or be 
influenced by. 

Our parents  would try to  have us be
around those would be a good influence 
not that always worked. No one is 
exactly as we think.

Something to think about as the weekend 

is now on.See who you can learn from

and those who you can teach. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Encourage One Another

As the  weekend  is  approaching it is 

a good idea to encourage and lift

each other up.

Those who are holiday shopping say

hello or wave or smile. Sometimes 

people  are  so busy looking or in a

hurry  to  do so.

I remember  as a young adult  to

spend time sit on a bench for several 

minutes  during  my shopping.  It was

good to watch others go by. This to

is a good time  to  reach out and say

hello.

I am more interested  interacting with

others then many. Go out of your way 

for others. If you see someone shopping 

or sitting  by themselves a better opportunity 

to do so. 

May you have a wonderful holiday season

Around the World

I find it exciting and awesome my blog 

here is being read around the world 

in new countries every  day. 

For some they find out that God loves

them and they have a purpose in this

life.

You can tell others they have a purpose 

and God loves them in your unique way

you were created.  Also you can live

your life showing others the gifts and

talents you have.

Since you are unique  every one will have

the privilege of seeing and enjoying what

you have.  So in your community, family

and friends you give what you have. It

doesn't  matter how many minutes or

hours. You travel somewhere else then

you give your life to those places you go.

Having Love

We can have a lot of gifts and talents 

both natural and  spiritual,  however  

we don't  have  love then it is meaningless.

Basically  is what the beginning  of 

1 Corinthians  13 says. The words 

there says a bunch of noise. 

We start reading  1 Corinthians 13

in verse 4 it tells us what love is. 

It begins with love is patient and 

kind. 

We think what love is but we are

not on the right track for the most 

part. Our love mostly  starts with

being selfish while we should think

of others first. Denying what we

want over what others want.

Our main objective with the gifts

and talents for  our life purpose 

is to give to others for love. What

we receive is love as well and 

anything  else is a bonus. ❤❤❤❤

Spiritual Warfare

I mentioned in earlier post we are 

spiritual  beings  as well as natural 

beings. Just as we have natural 

wars we are each in a spiritual 

war as well. 

In fact if we are dealing with physical 

ailment a spiritual  counterpart is

involved as well. I  deal with depression 

on occasion which I  feel  is spiritual. 

I know those who have physical depression 

however there is a spiritual part involved 

to. I  am  not  saying you have to go off

your medication at this time however 

spiritual  warfare will help.

Praying to God is the first step in spiritual 

warfare. Next would be to meditate. For

in my case when depression hits me I am 

going to think about the  good times.

This being the holiday season I  am going

to think about good holidays and not the

bad ones.

In the Bible there are two  books to read.

One in the old Testament  the book of

Joshua and in the new Testament there

is Ephesians. Chapter six is about spiritual 

warfare and putting on the full armor of

God. Wouldn't  this be a good gift to yourself 

as well as others this Christmas.  Amen!

Behind The Purpose

We have gifts and talents which

are characteristics behind our 

purpose. 

It means they are what our 

purpose  is  defined. We were 

created for a purpose to serve

and worship God along with

helping.

All gifts we have whether natural 

or spiritual  are to help those come

into our lives.

Most of us just have a circle of

people  in our world.  There are

those who are sports figures,

actors and politicians to name

a few groups  have a larger world 

of influence. It doesn't  take the

way we can influence others in

our world and purpose. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A Small Voice

Saturday Morning at the gym after

entering a class room for the class 

coming up I heard a voice say Herb.

The voice wasn't loud however I 

thought someone was behind me

so I turned around. No one was 

there at all. 

I thought to myself interesting. I

then said to myself about the story

of Samuel in the old testament 

waking up hearing a voice. He

didn't know God was speaking

to him.

Samuel went to the high priest.

The high priest said next time 

to respond back when the voice

wakes you up. This was the same

Samuel who anointed first Saul

as King of Israel then David.

I will wait to find if I hear the

voice of God in this manner

again. I usually God most

morning however by sense

and not like a human voice.

So if you hear a voice like

this say yes Lord  or God.

Amen. ❤❤❤❤

A Lighter Load

I figure can't  be  serious  all the time. 

Amazing  to  think  we are now in 

December  and the year is almost 

over. We are looking forward to

the holidays. 

Here in Western Washington  we

will  have a good amount of rain. 

We have to make up for the lack

of rain in October  and November 

to as well  in some degree.

I would  rather have rain than 

being dark in the morning and

in the mid to late afternoon. 

Ideal would to rain during the

night. I  don't  mind driving

in the rain though ending when

I  arrive is a good thing. Having 

the sun come out at least once

is nice to on a day.

We are Spiritual

Not only we have a natural  body we

have a spirit and a soul.

When we die we lose our natural  body

however we still have our soul and

spirit.  We are believers of Jesus  Christ 

then we go to heaven.  Unfortunately  

those who don't  go to hell. That is not

what is about. You have  to  decide 

whether you want to  believe in Christ. 

We were created in the image of God. 

He gave Adam and Eve bodies after

spirit and soul. He does the same for

us. He gives us freedom of choice to

believe in him or not. Otherwords like 

I  have  heard before he doesn't make 

us robots.

Not only we are spirit  there is a spiritual 

world. For those who believe in Jesus 

Christ  he gives spiritual  gifts  as well.

There is a number of those gifts. They

are not for the use to help fellow believers

but nonbelievers as well.  

I  know to that Yoga has become  a big 

deal these days.  I  recommend praying

to God and mediate on the things of

God especially scripture. The spiritual 

world can be dangerous if you are not

prepared  since there is a dark side to

it as well. 

I am not saying  not to take part in Yoga

especially  the exercise part is good 

but be careful of meditating.  I  recommend 

meditating  on good things. Besides scripture 

think about your family  and friends.  Also 

about your purpose and where you want to 

go with it. Love and faith would be good to.

Our Natural Person

We are familiar  with  our natural 

person with gifts and talents.

They are made up of our character,

personality and those things we are

good at.

Our weaknesses  with work  can 

become a gift or a talent.  Of

course it depends what it is.

For an example, I  wasn't  a good

reader until I  was 14. I was tutored

for three weeks where I  was on a 

level of a 17. It is possible I had the

talent all a long however because 

of where I  was at five years old.

I didn't  start talking until I  was  five

years old because  I  couldn't hear.

In part my ears had wax in them. 

There was more than that however 

I  don't  know what the remaining 

issue  was. 

I am not sure how  long  it  took me

to become good  at talking but I am 

sure not long. I  find  it  interesting 

I became a good writer before a

good reader. I am  not  the reason

for it. Maybe God  wanted me able 

write well before reading.

We all have some challenges in life

however our natural  gifts and talents 

do come out. They are not only for

our enjoyment  but for others too.

You figure people  enjoy watching

sports, theater, movies and music 

concerts. All those involved have

great talent to do so. More than 

most people.  It doesn't  mean  we

don't  have  talent  in  any of those 

areas they are at the top for sure.

Next time look at spiritual  gifts 

which are as important as the

natural ones if not more. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Two Types Of Purpose

There is two  parts of us so their is 

two purposes as well.  We are natural 

and spiritual so our purpose is made

up of both.

The thing is many people don't deal

with their spiritual side often if at all.

We have gifts both naturally and

spiritual.  Sometimes they  match as 

well.

Say you are naturally  a good speaker

naturally  than you likely have the gift

to speak into others lives spiritually 

as well.  Even if you are not good 

speaker naturally  you may spiritually 

have the gift. This is one example  of  

natural and spiritual gifts. 

There are natural  gifts  that can tie

in spiritual guts too. For instance if

you are a good cook then you should 

have the spiritual gift of hospitality. 

I am sure you have people  in your

homes a lot.

Take the time to look at your natural 

gifts and talents you may see how

they work  with  you  spiritually too.

Knowing Our Purpose

Did you  know  people  will find out their 

life purpose at different ages. I didn't know 

I  had a purpose  for my life until a few 

years ago.

Even before I  knew I  had  a  purpose I

was doing my purpose or at the least I 

was being trained.

Did you know your job is not only part

of your purpose  it is training for a greater

purpose.  Whether you are a lawyer, or a

doctor or a fireman which are all great 

professions there is  more to your purpose. 

People  are  more than those professions 

so whatever  you  are doing or have done

you are stretching the surface of your purpose. 

You can look back at other posts I have done

and others that will be coming.  I  am going to

be looking at the different areas of our purpose. 

I  am  sure  they may have been  mentioned before.

I  recommend you want to know  more you can

do searches on all these areas.  ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A New Week

A new week with new month coming

up it is important  to have a fresh

attitude.

Many of us will  be  busy  with the

holidays.  People will be shopping 

with some having joy however there 

can be those whose anger will come

forth because  of the crowds.

It is so important  we are not one of

those where anger spills over. We 

must continue the joy and encouragement 

to those around us.

I wish you the best as we head into 

December  and the end of the year.
