Hello There

Wherever you are want to say hello.

I hope you have good health and 

you are doing great things.

Yes you are meant to do great things.

With a little  faith you can move the

mountains  that are around you.

1 Corinthians  13:13  says these three

things remain, faith, hope and love.

Love is the greatest.  Do all three

especially  love. ❤️❤️❤️

Our Security

Our security  is in God. Our number one 

purpose  is  to  worship God and have him

love us. He has given us free will  to doso.

Our second purpose is  our family. Only

God is above our family. No other purpose 

goes before them.

The number three purpose is work for the

husband and the home for the wife. Of 

course, the wife can work to if she desires 

or needs to. Most women work before they

go into marriage. The home is at top in this

area for the wife, however,  the husband must

share in his duties here to as they are partners.

Friends and others is number four. Using your

gifts and talents. You are not to neglect God,

family and work to pursue your gifts and talents.

Pretty  simple I say in the order. Unfortunately 

there are some who pursue their gifts and talents 

over God and  family. The other name for your

gifts and talents is your calling. God and family 

is the top two then work. If there isn't any other

then those three you are in your calling. You can

give your calling in those three areas. Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

Never Give Up

As we know life is not always  easy. 

In fact it is hard some or a lot of the time. 

Our purpose  should be enjoyable 

most of the time. If  your health or

you  have been rejected I pray that 

you be healed right now. Amen. 

Most of our purpose we should 

enjoy.  There could  be  parts that

are not so much though. The parts

that are difficult we can do then

give it away.

If you are doing something you 

consider  is part of your purpose 

but you are not feeling good about

it than it might not be your purpose 

at least right now. The purpose  maybe

for someone else to accomplish. At

least something  for you to think about.

Having the Faith

Our life purpose  is  in our hands.

We have all the goods. The question 

is do we have the faith  to follow through. 

Most of our life purpose we already 

do. It is the rest whether  we are doing

or not.

The faith is willing to share or give

to others. Are we good enough is

what's  keeping  the full purpose.

The negative  experiences or our

expectations  is what's keeping  

us from fulfilling all the purposes.

Go out and see what these purposes

we haven't done yet. We are the only

one that can. ❤️❤️❤️

A Mild January

Getting  off the normal for a day

at least. January  temperatures 

in Western  Washington  has been 

mild. It has been more like fall.

We do sometimes  have  snow

in February  so it wouldn't surprise 

me if we have some this year.

Though we have had some rain as

normal  this time of the year the sun

has come out on occasion as well. 

You could say I am used to it.

What I hope for is when March comes 

things will be better as many people 

get allergies.  To live here you have

to tolerate allergies.

Intersection

I know people  have different  options 

whether life is predetermined  or random. 

I go more on the predetermined  side.

The interesting  thing  though whether

we leave our home on what we consider 

on time, early  or late things will  be 

different. 

We may see someone at the YMCA  or

grocery  store  for example where even 

five seconds makes the difference not

seeing them or at least talking to them.

I have seen people I know walking out

a door and I  would have talked with them

five seconds or less. Another I see someone 

and talked who said they saw me the other

day. 

We could say we meet and talk with those

we are meant too. Driving  no matter the

time we may have avoided an accident or

the matter of time being in one too. I believe

God and his angels protect us. Some day

we may know if we the movie of our life.

Whether your life is predetermined or random 

have a blessed  day.  ❤️❤️❤️

Excitement

I think it is so important  to  improve

and have new ideas about our life 

purpose. 

We might be  superstars in the area

of our life purpose but we can all

get even better. 

I have to say I am  excited because 

I  shared my testimony  with  a few 

others so far this week. It is important 

to share with others as well  as finding

out about their lives to.

We all have a testimony  where people 

see us in action  everyday. They see

the positive and negative  things  of

our lives. Hopefully  they see more of

the positive.  We do the same thing

whether we realize it or not.

Another thing if you have any idea 

what another person's  purpose is

go ahead and share it with  them. 

We may not know their full purpose 

but maybe one gift or talent. 

Going to  the YMCA  a lot I see parents

with their children. One of there purposes 

is raising their children. Let them know

how great a job you think they are doing.

This will raise up their faith.

I look forward  to  sharing  more about

how we can improve our purpose  this

year. I  will do so when the ideas pop up

Taking Care of Ourselves

Another area in our life purpose 

is to take care of ourselves. 

No matter how old we are it is

important  to  take  care of body,

soul, and ming.

Though our days are numbered 

it is best to  have our bodies

in the best shape we can to do

our purpose.  Not an easy task.

Good to go out for walks for at

least 20 minutes. Do some

exercises  as well. Eating of

course is another one. Keep

our portions small. Not an easy

task especially if we are used to 

otherwise. I recommend going 

on a intermediate fast at least

once a week.  This means waiting 

to eat 15 hours from your last meal.

I recommend drinking water or tea

if you need to before the 15 hours are.

I hope this helps you  and may your

A Gentle Spirit

Being effective  in your life purpose 

helps to have a gentle  spirit and

a wonderful  smile. 😊😊

This is important  to  speak with

boldness as well.  The gentle spirit 

and the smile will attract people 

while the boldness will make you

effective.

Thinking of You

There is not a day that goes by

I  am  not  thinking  of  you.

I remember  the  first day we met

and it was so special. I  knew than

no matter  what  or where you were

we would  be on each other's minds

forever.

I look forward  to  our next meeting 

and touch one another  like we had

never been  gone in person.  ❤️❤️❤️

Peace Be With You

When I  was  growing up in the

Episcopal Church a new book 

of common prayer came out.

The prayers leading to  communion

the words "peace be with you " is

spoken by the minister and the people 

respond back with the same words.

Then greet each person  around you

saying peace be with you.

It would be nice to share these words

with others everyday.  Also share with

ourselves. May you have peace today.

Goodness and Mercy

When it comes to fulfilling our duty

of our purpose with many other areas

goodness and mercy are right there.

Goodness we can show to everyone. 

Though our nature isn't  always  setup

this way we can do our best to do so.

Mercy to is good as well.  This is one 

of the spiritual  gifts. Otherwords those

who have the gift have it above the normal 

person. The gift is giving sympathy and

helping those who are suffering and afflicted.

I see it in a way like mourning a loved one.

Action of mercy is showing compassion 

to someone  you may not know but has 

cancer. If you have the gift of healing along

with mercy you are in a good place. If you 

don't  have  the gift of healing then take 

someone with you that does. The same 

if you have the gift healing but not mercy.

It isn't  though you won't  show mercy you

don't  have the gift. 

You don't  have  the gift  of  healing and do

have mercy you can still pray for healing 

and they still  maybe healed. Every Christian 

can pray for healing. Amen!  ❤️❤️❤️

Feeling Good

The older you get one of your purposes

is feeling  good.  Not always an easy  task. 

At the YMCA  I  not only see young people 

staying in shape I  see older ones as well.

See I am  not  saying old people.  We might

be getting  older but don't  have  to  feel old.

A lot of it has to do with your mentality.

I know some older people  who  say they 

feel  young in the inside. Our bodies are

wasting  away but our minds don't have to.

Most of my life I  didn't  even know I had a

purpose.  Now that I  don’t  have a job I 

have a mission.  God has called me to the

mission  field.  It doesn't  mean I am going

to Africa though I  may for a visit.

My mission  is  right here in United States.

I will add Canada as well. Who knows maybe

Mexico. 

Every day  waking up  is God what mission 

you have for me. Is it to put a smile on 

another one's  face. I  use my humor for

the most part. I  have  no problem talking 

with another person.

We live in world  with darkness  so if anyone 

of us can put light wherever we go the better.

You have a different  purpose  than me but

be the best one you can. Amen!  ❤️❤️❤️

Giving Compliments

I have said before it is important to 

encourage others along with your

other life purposes.

I add to it give compliments as well. 

Just like having a hug a day is good

and healthy so is hearing a compliment.

Changing Hearts

On Martin  Luther King Jr Day I read

on Twitter  comments by  the President

and the governor  of Washington State. 

They both said some good things about 

Mr King, however, their belief system  

must change.

For all of us it is change of heart by laying

down our thoughts and beliefs. It takes

a spiritual  rebirth to do so. Even with

rebirth will take the time  to  do so.

Our purpose  should  include helping

others in this rebirth.  Blessings to you 

all. ❤️❤️❤️

Happy birthday MLK Jr

Today (Monday) we celebrate the birthday 

of one of the most influential  men of the 

20th century in Martin  Luther King Jr.

Mr King  was 39 years old when he was 

assassinated in 1968. He was not one

to apologize for his beliefs and standing

up for them. His influence is still here today.

Though his life was cut short at the young

age of 39 God gave a great purpose  which

he fulfilled for sure. He would tell us to fulfill 

our purpose  for how long  we are here. Oh

by the way you can follow his beliefs as well.

Mr King we won’t  forget you. ❤️❤️❤️

A Great Day

Today is a Great Day. You may ask 

why. It hasn't  started out well.  

The  reason is your alive and God 

has things for you to do. You are

his instrument with all the gifts

and talents he has given you.

Let those who are near you know

this is a great day. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍

Resting Good

Some people keep working

hard all time. Working hard 

is good but there is time to

rest as well. 

We must be refreshed so we can do those things we are called to do. It is important 

we make priorities and do the  work we are meant. Often people try to distract us to help those who need it. God bless you this weekend.😉😉😉

Make a Joyful Noise

The holiday season is over, 

however, you can still make

a.joyful noise.

Today is Friday so a good day

to so. God created each of us

to worship him. Why? He is 

worthy of praise and he loves

us so much. He gave us a

choice to do so or not.

Our number one purpose is

to worship him. All the gifts

and talents he gave us is to

help us do our best. 

It doesn't matter whether we

have a great voice or not. 

I have known a few great worshippers who had terrible

but their hearts made up for it.

Tip: If you are one who doesn't

like singing in front of others 

because you don't like your

voice it is OK. Go into a room

when no one is there and make

a joyful noise.  God will enjoy

it since he gave you your voice.

Faith Raises Us

Whether we know it or not we have

faith. We can do a lot with the faith 

we have.

Jes Christ in Matthew  17:20 said

with faith as small as a mustard

seed we can  ove mountains.

Whether we want to move a mountain 

or not means our small faith can move

a lot in our lives. Have a great and  blessed

Enjoy Talking

I met a man who sat down next to

me t the coffee  shop  on Tuesday.

I  had never seen him before and

we chatted  for a few minutes.

It was near the end of my time there.

He had a book about love  he was 

going to read. I don't  remember  the

title  or the  author other than he is

a doctor.  What kind of doctor  I don't 

know but I  am  sure not medical.

Anyway we talked a little  about  politics. 

I figure I  got enough fix for politics for

some time.

I told him what is sad is families not 

talking with  each other or  not communicating 

at all anymore because  they don't agree on

politics.  Remember  family  is  family 

whether you agree or not on politics. 

I know couples who have gone to rival

schools and they get  along just fine.

Love Rain?

Monday certainly  was the day here 

in Western Washington if you love 

rain and staying  indoors. 

When I  was  finishing  physical therapy 

around 2 pm the clouds were dark and

nasty. It  did not look like  a typical  early 

afternoon.  I  knew a downpour was ready

to come. Fortunately I made my car before

it came. No one  would want to be stuck

in the rain  when it happened. 

Do you remember  days and what you did

when raining as a child. I certainly  when 

at home we played cards or board games.

My brother  when I  talked to  him on Saturday 

about a lot of rain here so far this month he

said he doesn't  remember a lot of  rain In

January.  To be honest I  don't  remember 

either way.  Most of the rain has happened 

during  the  night.  Not a bad thing at all.

Going Against the Odds

I don't  believe in gambling especially 

with money and homes, however,  there 

is something  about going against  the 

odds.

In fact, most of  our lives is going against

the odds. What are the chances we are

right where we are right now. 

My mother wasn't  even sure I would live

to be a year old. I  was  burned when I  was 

four years old. I  had a hearing problem at

the same time.  I  didn't  talk English until 

I  was five. Though I  was a good  speller in

school  I was behind in reading until  I was 

15. What are the odds that I can  write now.

I  am  sure  everyone  here has odds as well.

It is a good thing. Keep  up the good  work 

no matter the odds. Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

The New Year

Now that we are starting the second 

week  of 2023 how is it going so far for 

you?

For me it hasn't  changed a lot as I 

continue  what I  have been doing in

2022. I  have started physical  therapy 

where I have added three exercises 

to my routine each day.

Interesting  though I  have met several 

people at the coffee shop and grocery 

store that I  see at the YMCA.  It will

be interesting to see how things work out 

in time spent with  them.

I hope this encourages  you  when it comes

to meeting new people  where we can use

our gifts and talents with our life purpose. ❤️❤️❤️

January Rain

The new year in the Seattle

Washington area always starts

out with rain and this year

isn't any different. 

The heavy rainfall thankfully

happens during the night. 

When I wake up I can hear

it. 

A good thing keeps the trees

and grass green most of the

year. Some areas getting

flooding too. 

Wouldn't it be nice to rain in

our hearts overflowing. Bring

joy into our hearts as well.

I like when the sun comes out

this time of the year even for 

a few minutes. 

Many older people go to Arizona or California this time

of the year and return in March

or April. I can't blame them

however I like to see my friends. 😊😊

Something New

It is really  nothing new but I  discovered 

it by accident. 

The barasta at the coffee  shop I go

to regular thought I wanted a caffe mocha

but I  wanted a regular  drip coffee  since 

it was going to be free for the day. Anyway 

she already  put chocolate  in  so she said  

wouldn't  charge me for the chocolate since

it was misunderstanding. 

I discovered with the chocolate the coffee 

taste better and even better than a mocha

at least  to me. The other thing it is cheaper 

than a  mocha when adding chocolate.  I 

won't have it everyday but when I  do I  will 

add the chocolate. Amazing discoveries 

like this turn out. 

Joy and Peace

We hear a lot about peace during  the 

holiday season  ,however,  not a lot of

it actually  happening around the world 

anyway. 

Today we pray  for joy and peace among

everyone.  We pray for cease  fire from 

Russia  in the Ukraine along with countries 

like the Sutan.

We ask those who  seek joy and peace 

find the author of peace. Amen!❤️❤️❤️

This Is The Day

This afternoon I  begin my physical 

therapy on my ribs and back from

my fall down the stairs three weeks 

ago.

I wish I had started already,however, 

the holiday season put a delay on it.

I have  been  exercising after taking a 

few days off.

It is ironic it is about this time last year

I began physical therapy on my shoulder 

from slipping  on  ice. I  hope next year

I  won't be doing physical therapy again.

I am sure most people  have gone through 

physical  therapy.  It is a good thing. Could

you imagine living with injuries without it.

I still do my exercises  for  my shoulder

and I  am  sure  have to do the same here

too. Important to stay healthy. Amen! ❤️❤️❤️

Living Your Dream

Monday night many saw the collapse 

of Damar Hamlin, a safety for the 

Buffalo Bill's against the Cincinnati 

Bengals on Monday  Night  Football. 

Hamlin a six-round pick of the Bill's

in 2021 became a starter late of last 

season and was a starter this season. 

That is  rare to happen.

On ESPN  where the game was telecasted

the announcers said he was living his

dream  and  his fellow teammates and 

those who play throughout the NFL can

relate.

The same announcers said now for Hamlin

and his family the dream has turned into 

a nightmare.  Very  understandable to hear

that. Hamlin when collapsing had a cardiac 

arrest.  We don't  know the future, however,  

the chances are  great he will never play the

sport he loves but his health right now is 

important as millions are praying for him.

Now looking at his life purpose  Hamlin has

effected millions of people  right now though

tragic indeed.  His true life purpose  may still 

be ahead of him. If he isn't  able to  play football 

again there will be other avenues for him to

explore as long as his health permits.

Wish and pray for Damar Hamlin whose life 

changed so quickly.  May your life be a testimony 

to others who play football and those outside.

Being Yourself

There are those who give you

points to your life purpose.

The number one point and most

important  is being yourself.  

We are all unique  even if we have

similarities  to others. I  am here

to support others in their life purpose 

as well as other things.

I  minister to others to get rid of

strongholds that keep each of us

meeting  our purpose. Yes there are 

experiences  that have hold on us

that have kept  us  from being the 

best we can be. 

Those experiences  usually  have  

something to  do  how we were 

raised or those we met on the way

of growing up. No one were raised

in a perfect family.  We have to admit

the failures of other and ourselves for

that matter on how we reacted even 

though not our fault. We have to forgive

those who were part of our failures.

Not for them but ourselves.  We can only

move on to  be who we are meant to be

by forgiving and moving on from those

failures  and  strongholds. ❤️❤️❤️

Here We Are

Happy  New  Year to everyone. We hear

this time how positive this year and 2023

is no difference. 

Remember there will be challenges as 

well since that is what life is about.

No matter what happens there will be

new lives born and death as well. Whether

close to us or not we will know of a new

baby born and we will know of someone 

dying that is reality. 

In our lives as I have  said already we will 

have new gifts and talents given to us.

May we use them when the opportunity
